Geas / Quest question (quest-ion, eh? nevermind...)

Rules Questions

Can i cast Geas/Quest on sleeping person? Will they not be aware that they under enchantment and that i am the culpit?
How much it will shift me to Evil?

Yes.

They'd be just as aware they're under it as if they were concious and you cast it silent and out of their sight.

Exactly as much as your DM says.

How evil it makes you is up to your GM, but the GM will likely (should) take into consideration the motive behind the geas/quest and the wording of it.
And I completely agree with Bronnwynn.

Perfect.
My slave empire shall rise!

I don't think so. The recipient has to be able to understand the request/restriction. People don't comprehend anything told to them while they are asleep.

Subliminal messages.

Also, for the title, goddammit Barb!

Heh, yep but for this to work you have to cast it every night while they sleep for a number of nights equal to the number of syllables in your instructions (minimum 10). Also your instructions have to be exactly the same every night or there could be a misunderstanding.

Or just use a spell to talk to them in their dreams (Geas-Ception!)
