[Interjection Games] Reaching Out with Media

Product Discussion

Hello there, everyone! Mr. Seeley recently brought the Interjection Games website back to nothing for a redesign and that brought me back to square one. I know the social media thing is something I need to do to get ahead in this industry, but I've never used the stuff, so I don't know what's valuable to whom.

What social networking do you use to keep in touch with your favorite publishers? I'll start there!

Pathfinder LO Special Edition Subscriber

The main two of those I pay much attention to are blogs (I like reading the behind the scenes stuff/design theory) and Twitter (mostly for updates to the prior as the low limit count makes it inconvenient for much more than that).

There's unfortunately no way past facebook. I only created my profile for my site, but yeah - it's the one that seems to see most use.

Grand Lodge

Go to conventions and hang posters. Social and media.

Ask an elf a question, and he will tell you both yes and no.

Ask gamers a question, and learn you need to ask more questions.

Right, so this shows me that doing everything to grow Interjection Games beyond what it is now truly is beyond the means of one sane individual, particularly when that individual is doing all the writing, too. To that end, I need to look outside to get things done. Who can do what, and how much will it cost me?

I've been doing some thinking, and some small bits of crunch to help populate a new blog would be absolutely fantastic.

What can I offer in exchange for snippets of content that romp around in an IG class?

Products, cash, me romping around in your stuff for a bit - let's talk.

You need to set up and connect your Facebook fanpage, twitter account, and a blog of some kind. Popular blog choices include tumblr or blogger. There are plenty of side sites that work well for cross promotion such as Youtube for video blog updates, Pinterest for sharing artwork and Instagram for instant photo updates - which then cross to Facebook and Twitter.

It's easy once you get everything up and running.
