If you are in a point buy system you could level Str at 10, or 13 and still get PA, and just pump dex. First level you could take weapon focus scimitar and at 3rd slashing grace scimitar for dex to attack and damage with scimitar. At 4th precise strike comes on line for the daring champion so you will be good for damage.

I’m not much of a fan of standstill unless you are often in tight corridors but if you are lvl 5 could be CR and level 6 Standstill.

For teamwork feats I think Swap Places can be a strong feat for a cavalier as you can standard action to share it then swap places with a threatend ally for your move action.

Because I'm starting at level 8 I just decided to skip weapon focus and slashing grace and focus on the defensive side of things because of already having precise strike.

swap places sounds good I'll probably switch that with shake it off

I'm not happy with stand still either I'll probably just delay it until after step up and strike as long as they work together the way I think they do. I still need combat reflexes for shadow shroud and kinda for bodyguard though. So I might just replace standstill with step up maybe.

Without slashing grace you will not be able to use weapon finesse with a scimitar.

I forgot about that I would need slashing grace or need to use a rapier. I'll use a rapier.

You can use a Scimitar with Dervish Dance, it makes it count as a piercing weapon.

Also Arcane Strike eats your swift action, you don't want that s@~~.

arcane strike is there almost entirely as a bodyguard buffer with the option for small AoE damage using the gloves of arcane striking. I plan on using a buckler so dervish dance won't do.

Why a buckler?

Monsters will have no reason to attack you.

If the plan works out right I'll be granting adjacent allies at least +8 A.C I'll be the one they can hit
