Magus Arcane Archer

Rules Questions

Using an Eelvencraft Bow from 3.5 could I cast an area spell using Spell Combat then fire it using Imbue Arrow and also make a melee full attack?

This is also assuming Point Blank Master and Quarterstaff Master.

Given the inclusion of 3.5 material it would really be up too the individual DM to determine.
By general rules I'd say no,due to the fact that there is no multi-weapon fighting ability that alternates between attack with a ranged weapon and attacking in close combat.
Spell combat also specifically references attacking in melee.
It is a cool visual though.

To use this ability, the magus must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components), while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand. As a full-round action, he can make all of his attacks with his melee weapon at a –2 penalty and can also cast any spell from the magus spell list with a casting time of 1 standard action (any attack roll made as part of this spell also takes this penalty).

Nothing about this says that ranged attacks can not be used that round. In fact I would think you can make thrown attacks with it.
Imbue Arrow is just used with a spell as it is cast.

Spellstrike allows you to use the spell from Spell Combat to make a melee weapon attack, but the two need not be used together.
