How big are symbol of ________ spells? / is this offensive under it's definition?

Howdy.. firstly how big are the symbols if anyone knows officially? it sounds like it can be pretty small in the text since it specifies random items and movability.. so could it be something as small as a plate or something?

also from the spell
"You can't use a symbol of death offensively; for instance, a touch-triggered symbol of death remains untriggered if an item bearing the symbol of death is used to touch a creature. Likewise, a symbol of death cannot be placed on a weapon and set to activate when the weapon strikes a foe."
so does this just mean.. I can't drop the symbol on people to make them touch it etcs?

Could I make it on idk.. a plate or something. Then brainwash someone with various spells (dominate person, command, etc) and have them bring the item back to camp then touch it?
or just stick it in the pile of cookware for a camp/castle/etc? and someone just finds and touches it?

It is not said, but I think they are big enough to easily be seen. They may not have a size limit.

Since it needs to be displayed prominently i would think casually rummaging through a box of cookware would not set it off. However, i think you may set it off if while rummaging you notice the plate has something on it so you pull it out to investigate.

I don't know how big a symbol is, but it needs to be readable from sixty feet away. I imagine them to be about the size of my hand.

They are the appropriate size to allow you to act like a flasher with them on your person.

I always assumed they're about the size of a book.

According to the spell book rules, they each take up a number of pages equal to the level of the spell.

Obviously that means the Symbol spells are all like a fold out poster, or playboy centerfold.
