51 to 100 of 121 << first < prev | 1 | 2 | 3 | next > last >>

The abundance of martial candidates does make it seem 2 or 4 may be right right hero to come out of this House. I'll move for 4, and go with the wizard idea. I think it's time to brush up on my Sun Tzu. How about a Sun Tzu spouting diviner/archer?

Elf Diviner(Foresight):

CON 12
INT 20
WIS 12
CHA 8

Feats: Scribe Scroll, Point Blank Shot, Arcane Strike, Precise Shot

there is a ranged paladin archetype (Divine Hunter, and holy gun) you could look into as well. just letting you know the options.

Silver Crusade

@ all, you are not bound to what you rolled, if you wanted to use the different rendition of the Focus Foible I presented feel free.

@helix, just so you know, I don't plan on giving out PFS credit as I don't have the required dungeons. :(

This is browman's character. I think I updated everything in the profile re-using an old alias

That would've been my choice (Divine Hunter elf paladin), but Arven Moonleaf is calling for a divine hunter as well, and I had enough options that I didn't feel a need to bump into his space. If I can have a few more days, I'll juggle these some more and see what falls out. The Sun Tzu thing is holding though, and I want to try to incorporate some of that into whoever comes out on top.

(weird, that 338 :) )

Definitely interested, not sure what I'm going to do yet though. How many submissions per person do you allow?

So... We can roll AND then decide? :D

Liberty's Edge

thats fine. ill turn to an alias no problem:)

Tossing up between a Sandman Bard, or a Warpriest of Gozreh. Do you allow access into Prestige Classes or do you prefer we stick to the main book classes / archtypes.

Silver Crusade

Wivvy just one please.

Albion: yes you may.

Prestige classes are fine. Also, haven't seen a war priest in action as of yet. ..

O.k in that case, I'll submit a Sacred Fist Warpriest of Gozreh, with an eventual eye on the Storm Kindler PrC. Should be favourable and fun, which always makes for a good character submission.

Posting interest. I just found this thread and I'm about to crash so I don't have time to roll up a character right now, but I'll get something up tomorrow.

I'll give it more thought before I submit a character, but right now I'm leaning toward a tiefling who was never overly bothered by their own nature, and wants to join the Dawn out of a mixture of a genuine desire to help people, a way to show up all those who looked down on them because of their blood, and, at least partly, because life has been *boring*.

Class wise, I'm willing to fill in wherever I'm needed, but I would be happier playing either an Arcanist, Magus, Wizard, or Swashbuckler. (I have a thing for the arcane, if it wasn't obvious)

Also, I feel I should give advance notice in that this would be my first PbP on the Paizo forums. I've been in several on other sites, but not here, so I may make some formatting errors initially, but I would adapt quickly.

Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 6, 5) = 23
Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 6) = 17
Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 1, 3) = 13
Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 4, 2) = 17
Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 1) = 9
Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 3, 3) = 17
Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 1) = 11

(Hopefully I formatted the dice roller right...)

are you full if not i would like to play a psinic telepath elf if i may

@Johnny-Panic, the GM hadn't stated it in his initial post, so I asked if there were any classes that weren't allowed. He replied saying no Psionics.

Here's the post for reference :

rorek55 wrote:
classes- No psionics, sorry guys. I haven't used them before and it doesn't jibe with the idea I have. Guns are emerging. Witches are looked down on as evil due to the pacts with... otherworldy beings, though are not unheard of to work within the order from time to time. No samurai and no ninja, love the classes but they just don't fit :(.

Ok thanks for letting me know, I think then I have another idea.
I would like to play an android race machinesmith class

As the android standed is 16Rp I will take away

Nanite Surge: An android's body is infused with nanites. Once per day as an immediate action, an android can cause her nanites to surge, granting a bonus equal to 3 + the android's character level on any one d20 roll; this ability must be activated before the roll is made. When an android uses this power, her circuitry-tattoos glow with light equivalent to that of a torch in illumination for 1 round (3 RP.)

This then gets it to Tiefling (13 RP). Drow (14RP) level.

The idea is that to fight the undead in the war a regiment of android where made, they could not be made into undead and where like the undead as they would fight all day and all night. How ever the cost to make them and skills needed where so high they the plan was abandoned. Now only a few are left they know only war.

Unit leader ZEN 5 has been standing guard all this time, now the darkness is coming again, it has become active once more, there is light again in its eyes. This is its 3ed soul so its forgot a lot of what it learned form the war.

Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 4, 3) = 17

Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 4) = 7 -> 3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5) = 9 -> 1d6 ⇒ 1 -> 1d6 ⇒ 5
2: 13

Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 4) = 16

4: 15

Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2, 3) = 14

Ability Score: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 3) = 16

5+3+5+7+2+3= 25 Point Buy - Not bad

@Johnny-Panic,
The rules for stats are in the first post of the GM.

rorek55 wrote:

Pick one stat, give it an 18, pick another, give it an 8, purchase others with a 17pt buy.

OR, roll 4d6, 7 sets, drop the lowest, drop lowest d6 from each.

It doesn't mention anything about rerolling 1's. The GM did state in a later post that you can first roll and see if you like your stats, if not you could opt for the other option.

Thanks I much have had a brain Dizz

Ill just do points its simpler

Str [14] [+2] Raw[14] [5points] [ race][ ]
Dex [16] [+3] Raw[16] [5points] [+2race][ ]
Con [12] [+1] Raw[12] [2points] [ race][ ]

Wis [14] [+2] Raw[14] [5points] [ race][ ]
Cha [6] [-2] Raw[6] [8] [-2race][ ]

Not trying to be difficult, but it might help to read the GM's opening post in full.
For reference you can find the character creation part as quoted from the opening post. (With some relevant items bolded)

2 traits, drawbacks are allowed.
wealth- as per WBL
each player will receive a minor magic item gifted to them by the order. (my choice)
HP- max HD
NO EVIL. If you want to play Evil that much, better give a GOOD reason your not with the other side. (only lawful evil need apply)
NO CN. I have seen this to often deform into evil. NN-LG is A-ok.
I would as no necromancers or the like. (Although I am open to the undead bloodline sorcerer, as always, with a really good story, I am open to discussion on this.)
no stats below 7 after racials.
Any wishing to play a cleric/paladin please refer to the specific section listed below for additional rules on these classes.
3rd party stuff on case-by-case basis, playtest classes on a case by case basis.
Everyone gains one addition feat at level 1.
Any core race +aasimar teifling(there very few of these, I expect good things from one who wishes to play an aasimar or teifling)
I will look at other races on case by case, need a good reason why you are what you are though. (yes, goblins+orcs are open races... but need a good reason why you’re in the other kingdom and why you joined the order.)
(Seriously I am giving you nice stuff, don't min/max. I WILL kick your teeth in with that min area. Not all the time... but when it hurts, it HURTS. :3)
If you have any other questions concerning character creation just ask in the thread.

Paladin and clerics-
First, I will list the way I see paladins.
Paladins are divine followers of there god, they are the sword and hammer, the cleric is the healer. Paladins will always uphold good over law. (Though they do not break laws willy nilly).
If a paladins code comes into contradiction with a law, the paladins code comes first, A paladins code should be an almost perfect reflection of there gods tenants. I WILL want your paladins code with the submission of your paladin. I am a very lenient GM where paladins are concerned.
Clerics- Clerics must also submit there own code of conduct to me. They will not be held quite as strict as a paladin, but I wouldn't sway to far from it. This code, like the paladins must be in line with your deity.
also, paladins may select NG or LG. (I prefer LG paladins, as it DOES fit better though, codes still required for either.)
Thanks for looking in!

He specifically states that you are not allowed to have a stat lower than 7 after racial modifiers. So putting the 8 in charisma would not be allowed. If you play a race with a -2 on charisma.

Another point about your Android idea. Just so you know, the pathfinder androids aren't immune to becoming an undead, as they are only immune to disease and sleep effects. More info on what affects an android (first topic I found about it).

Also not certain how androids & machinesmith would fit in the concept the GM put forth for the campaign, but that's just my opinion. The GM did state he would look at other races & 3rd party stuff on a case-by-case basis.

Sorry for the double post, but I have some more questions.

@GM, I was looking into where I want to go with this character in later levels and I currently was looking at the idea of making him into an expert fencer, not really focused on true damage dealing, but more on disarming his opponents. [Still dealing considerable amounts of damage as he levels due to the swashbuckler's precise strike ability, inspired swashbuckler's rapier training and increasing dexterity)

Now my question is, would it be useful for me to actually invest in the improved disarm feat line (and when relevant the mythic versions thereof) or will we be facing mostly opponents with natural attacks or lacking weapons in another way. Because it wouldn't be fun to invest a huge chunk of my feats into something I can only use a few times over the course of the game.

The other option I'm looking at is going the more damage focused way and taking things like power attack, furious focus & the vital strike feat chain (with also the mythic versions thereof)

I'm going to drop from this, its seems this game will have two GMs, been in games like that before and they, note fun, yes I missed some stuff but I am fully aware of Androids, there was no need for that, so. so by all means carry on, but I am out.

@Johnny-Panic, was by no means my intention to be a second GM to this campaign or anything like that. Just was trying to be helpful.

I'm sorry if I offended you in some manner.

It seemed to me like you were just trying to have him avoid having his finished character rejected by the GM for not following the character creation.

Rorek is there anything else you need from me for my submission?

Silver Crusade

Well that escalated quickly. Woulda discussed it with him. Ah well :/

@theory-it would be about 50/50 for when useful, earlier on woild entail it being less useful. While about the "middle" levels being the most you could be using it.

@browman- haven't had tyme to look over it in detail but I don't see much missing off the bat.

I need to rework a few things but this particular toon fits the feel I'd like to contribute to the endeavor.

background:

Raised as an orphan, the young girl frequently fought her pyro tendencies while learning to be a scribe in a bookshop. Did I say numerous and frequent temptations? While her peri-blooded background often boiled under the surface, it generally displayed as a warm personality. Maybe a little quick to trust, a little naive, and a quick study.

One benefit of working in a bookshop is the limitless access to reading materials. Learning the secrets of the arcane was a lengthy process, but her long childhood gave her plenty of time to stumble through the basics.

Several of the books she had read were first hand accounts of the Great War. Often in the evening Cyniq would lay in bed staring at the stars idly rubbing the callouses on her hands from endless hours of scribing letters and copying manuscripts. She felt drawn to a higher purpose, that her life was meant to be more than just a bookbinder. On her off days while she wandered the markets of Spero she would feel a yearning, a directionless pull on her very bones, but without direction she could only wonder.

Today had been one of her worst. First a bookshelf had collapsed, nearly burying her under ancient tax treatises. Later while walking along the city wall a stone had fallen free and nearly crushed her. Just outside the farmer's market a wagoner lost control and his wagon had just missed running her over. In her haste she had fallen into a pool of muddy water. Stumbling out she had grabbed at a post, accidentally tearing a posting off the post in the process.

With water dripping from her bangs she spread the paper out and looked at the advertisement. Repent! For the end draws near! Repent and save your soul. This advertisement approved by the Order of the New Dawn.

As she read the endorsement she felt a direction for that yearning she had lived with, this was her calling, to join this Order.

With a quick casting of a cantrip, the mud and water was cleaned from her outfit as she hurried to sign up as a disciple of the Order of the New Dawn.

crunchy bits:

I'll work on revamping the toon. Change her ability scores, boost her up a couple levels.

Peri-blooded aasimar with scion of humanity trait (no disguise needed to pass as human) wizard.

Gah, as much as it pains me I think I'm going to have to withdraw interest for now. Some things came up and I haven't had time to make a character and I probably won't for at least another week.

Good luck everyone.

Well this looks oddly familiar...
Maybe i will get another chance to headbut a boulder =^^=

Ill be submitting a dwarven armored hulk barbarian (apparently dwarves and martials are in high supply :s) who wears stoneplate and fights with a stone boulder helm.
His feats will be power attack, imp bull rush and steel soul.
His focus will be Con and his folly Int (i dont know where else to put it :s i dont want 6 Cha, but skill points...)

Ill have to rework this alias (currently a barbarian mish-mash with the earth infused template)[/ooc] and dig up his fluff...

Silver Crusade

Well ello there rolling boulder

Decided to do an Arcanist instead, lost my notes on my Warpriest's character background and wasn't happy at my attempts to recreate it.

Arcanist

Backstory:

For Ashnah Lialda, life in the Mordant Spire was a more lonely existence. Many of the elfish folk that lives in the Spire were bound together in family communities, but for Ashnah, such a community lacked a father figure, as her mother had spent but a single night with her father in a secular human settlement, before departing and returning to the Spire the very next day, never to return, and despite her repeated requests, her mother would not be drawn upon the subject.

Her Half Elf heritage would gradually become a problem with her tutors, who saw the human side of her as a barrier to Ashnah to achieve her full potential, and as a result she was often pushed hard to become more “Elf like”, frequently experiences extra work on elfish history or extra study on the cultural identity of the elfish race. Unfortunately for her tutors, this “push” ended up having unforeseen consequences, with Ashnah being drawn to transmutation magic, claiming that if her tutors wanted Ashnah to be “perfect”, then perhaps magic was the answer, perhaps magic was the answer to achieve “perfection”, the fact that had been drummed into her in her schooling.

Obviously, transmutation magic was a sore point for elves in the Spire, many of them remembered the Azlanti Runelord Karzoug, master transmutator and the Runelord of Greed, and Ashnah had several discussions with her tutors upon the subject. Despite the topic being debating furiously, Ashnah’s arguments her well founded and had good intentions. To appease her tutors, she claimed that she wanted to study transformative magic in order to limit the barrier her human heritage allegedly affected he,…and if she managed to uncover some new branch of transmutation magic then she could use it to help others, or otherwise attempt to benefit the spire born elves who lived in the Mordant Spire.

Wanting to continue her research, Ashnah left the Spire on her own, and quickly set about her studies. Over the course of her research, she discovered more about the powerful Morzarath and his undead army that had rampaged upon the world. Ashnah had a small crisis of faith as she studied both transmutation and necromancy- both of them dealt with permanent change upon the subject, before coming to the conclusion that necromancy was a barrier to enlightenment and potential, turning people into monsters incapable of controlling their baser urges, and so she left and joined the Order of the New Dawn, determined to combat the hidden evil rising in the land, putting aside her studies for the time being in order to counter this threat.

GM, would you mind dropping the the 2nd level spells requirement off of the mystic theurge? And maybe drop the skill req to 2 ranks in K.(religion) and 2 in K.(Arcana)?

I have an idea for a human or half-elf mystic theurge that I think would fit in nicely.

Here's most of the crunch on Maeron Thurngood, Elven Archer Paladin

More Fluffy Stuff:
AKA The interesting:

The long history:
The minor hero Arandur Thurngood, having survived the conflict, retired, and sired five children. One vanished while adventuring to further the cleansing of the world in the Thurngood name. The other four eventually propagated their lines (Houses Redthurn, Grynthurn, Bluthurn and Lyghtthurn - the eldest clan). Each descendant, who vowed to take on the fight, takes up the Thurngood name regardless of marriage customs. Some choose to keep their family name as part of middle names, but the surname Thurngood identifies the lineage. Furthermore, when greeting each other, a further identification is often offered. Maeron is also known variously Maeron of Redthurn or Maeron of the Redthurn House. When his parents steps down from the name, Maeron will then also take on yet another name, Maeron Redthurn.

The politics:
The Redthurn line has had moderate success in keeping up the fight. However, that is threatened when his parents grew old, with but a child to carry on the duties. They trained him and afforded him every opportunity they could, but their influence is dwindling among the Houses.

The burden:
Maeron represents the entirety of his household (fortunately, not the only one of the Redthurn House, as he has cousins out there). He is keenly aware that, if he does not find a suitable mate and father children, this particular branch of the Redthurn House will wither and die with him.

I will get a code of conduct for him over Thanksgiving, including a prioritization of the Sarenrae Order, the House Thurngood, and the Land, when codes come in conflict.

Silver Crusade

Sorry. Not into changing much, a feat or two. Maybe, you can drop the skills to 2 each but the casting requirements would stay the same, I'd rather not have prestige classes at the start, the RP opportunities for getting into them are tremendous.

Very Interested if a little late to the party. Thinking of Making an Elf Alchemist (Grenadier). Rolling Stats to see what I have to work with.

Rolls: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 3) = 8 - 7
Rolls: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 2, 6) = 18 - 16
Rolls: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6, 3) = 18 - 15
Rolls: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 4) = 15 - 12
Rolls: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 5) = 14 - 12
Rolls: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 3) = 16 - 14
Rolls: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 5) = 18 - 16

So 16, 16, 15, 14, 12, 12. Can't complain with that, great rolls for what I plan to do. Crunch coming shortly followed by backstory, etc.

Background:

Mikhail was born and raised in Spero. He comes from a poor family which meant he spent most of his days roaming the streets, learning and doing whatever he could to get by and preferably stay out of trouble. He also learned that sometimes words and a threatening posture can diffuse many situations, but that one also needs to be prepared to follow through on their threats. With what little money he had, he bought himself some weapons to be able to defend himself if the need arose.

At the age of 12, Mikhail got a job as a city guide due to his extensive knowledge of interesting locales within the sprawling metropolis. He was good at his job and got many tips due to excellent services and his charming personality.

One day, while leading a couple on a tour through Spero, he came past an ally where he saw a Dwarf being beaten up. Mikhail called out to the assailants loudly, making certain more people were aware of the situation. Realizing they had been noticed they quickly fled the scene, while Mikhail concerned himself with the man.

It turned out that he was Dolgrin Norvok, the son of Grunyar Norvok, a famous dwarven smith. Grunyar was grateful that Mikhail had saved his son and offered him one of his finely crafted weapons as compensation.

His act of kindness had not gone unnoticed as a priestess of Shelyn approached him a few days later. She asked him if he would be willing to join the order of dawn so he could better protect those in need from the darkness in the world. He gladly accepted.

The following years he trained under the guidance of Ryuu Rosewell quickly honing his swordplay. He completed his training and officially joined the Order of Dawn as one its knights. For the moment he is tasked with assisting in keeping the order on the busy streets of Spero, but he knows that soon he will be sent on a real mission. In his free hours he spends his time playing the lute in one of its many inns, waiting for that day to finally come ...

Would it be possible to use point buy to increase the 8 of the foible at all? Im asking because a 6 charisma dwarf is offputting and my rolls were not helpful in that regard.

Silver Crusade

sure. you can do that.

Therie Gorget - Alchemist (grenadier) 3 for submission by blondebandit.

Ah, I was under the impression that the 18 and 8 had to stay exactly like that (apart from racial modifiers) - good to know :D

So, if I roll...

4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 5) = 21 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 1) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 6) = 16 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 4) = 14 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 5) = 22 = 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 1) = 10 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 2) = 18 = 16

:o

Silver Crusade

could everyone have a character ready to submit by monday?

Will do.

Never,never! By which I mean,will do.

Rough form of Paladin's Code of Conduct for Maeron Thurngood:

Code of Conduct, Cliff Notes:

For my peers and allies:
I shall endeavor to teach and guide when their motivations and resulting actions are not in alignment with Sarenrae and her tenets.

I shall respect their motivations and resulting actions, except where doing so causes me to enter conflict with Sarenrae and her tenets.

I shall not coerce or otherwise force them to change, in motivations or in actions, so that they may come to enlightenment of their own choice through understanding.

For my enemies:
A person brings darkness into the world, when their deeds (not merely words) threaten the physical and decisional wellbeing of others. The degree of darkness is measured by spread and severity of this detriment.

The instigators of darkness has revoked, through their deeds, the protective light of Sarenrae, and are to be purged from this world.

Those that follow the instigators of darkness has similarly revoked said sanctuary. However, leniency may be granted, when such offenders may be given over to authorities for supervision for possible rehabilitation, and when such leniency would not reasonably result in detriment to the down-trodden and to the allies.

For the down-trodden:
I shall assist the elders wanting for food, water and clothing, for they have contributed a lifetime of efforts to the world.

I shall assist the children wanting for food, water and clothing, for they have a lifetime of efforts yet to contribute to the world.

I shall assist the down-trodden, who lacks for ownership and capacity to gain ownership of food, water and clothing.

For the ruling classes:
I shall work within the ruling system, where such ruling systems allow for reasonable access to food, water and clothing for the general population.

No system overly constraining such access shall hold sway over me as I perform my duties to the down-trodden in the name of Sarenrae.

NOTES
It is worth noting this set of code of conduct did not say what happens when the ruling controls the expression and resulting actions of the people when their convictions come in conflict with those of the ruling class. Under Sarenrae, I assume the expectation is small amount of censorship of words, and more latitude of censorship of deeds, typically for purpose of safe environment for the populace and some level of respect and protection for those that take on the burden of governance.

Generally, slay the big baddies, slay or capture or redeem the small baddies, guide the allies to light but let them make that choice, help those who can't help themselves to food/water/clothing, and respect the ruling class so long as they behave.

Also, please note there are no explicit constraints in manner of warfare. General guidance is to minimize collateral damage to civilians, and avoid causing purposeless pain and suffering to the enemies. Beyond that, war is war, even for Sarenrae.

Is this close to what you're envisioning for a paladin? Or am I barking up the wrong tree.

Silver Crusade

It looks good to me, but don't be so fast to never offer reconciliation to the BBEG, 99% of the time they will probably reject it or lie, but hey, still a chance.

Silver Crusade

Cyniq al'Vysin - Aasimar wizard
Therie Gorget -- Alchemist
Arandur Thurngood-- Archer paladin
Ashnah Lialda-- arcanist
Rockjaw-- Armored hulk
Dalrin Slowshield- Cleric (of adbar?)
Telthes-- Sorcerer
Mikhali-swashbuckler

did I miss anyone who has submitted a character background?

A classic struggle of good versus evil doesn't sound bad. I did create character with a pretty massive backbround recently. But don't worry, there is a condensed version, even though some events don't appear really plausible without context anymore. It's just a mind game... there is another character idea clawing its way out of my subconscious, I just can't pin it down yet.

Narunith Silvertrees, NG female elf wizard (universalist) 3

Essential for the story is that Kyonin exists and is mainly inhabited by elves... but if I understand you correctly, that's doable, it would belong to the Kingdom of Azora - or the two at least tolerate each other and have a military alliance. However, whether that would met your agreement would be nice.

More complicated may be that she has an elder brother, who's paladin of Iomedae (seems unlikely for an elf to revere a goddess that is younger than some few exceptionally old living elves, but it's the ideal that matters). And he's a lieutenant in the crusade, meaning he fights alongside elite elf warriors at the world wound. Well, I suppose in your world, there is no world wound so he must have done something different particularly heroic to serve as a proper role model for Narunith. Might fighting monsters which occasionally try to climb down the World's Edge Mountains be an option? While monsters are mostly vanquished in Azora, there may be hidden lairs and old fortresses there to which the come to hide, to outflank Azora which controls the Inner Sea or something like that.

I posted the background here:

I will go through it for corrections tomorrow.

Whatever I decide, I will definitely use your point buy variation, so it's going to be an eight in strength and a 20 (after racial modifier) in intelligence. The rest remains to be seen. I also struggle between universalist and evoker, because I love the clean straightforwardness of evocation. But then I have the desire to just try an alrounder for once - I never did - even if it means less spells per day.

background:
Telthes is incredibly young for a elf adventurer. He has always seemed to have a connection to magic, particularly that of electrical magic. This connection came without study, an innate gift. He left his home as soon as he could , determined to discover how he came by these innate powers and to grow them. His initial wandering brought him into contact with a group of adventurers from the order of the dawn. One of the adventurers realized that Telthes was likely a sorceror and brought him to the order. Telthes' powers have grown since that day, but he still hasn't found a complete explanation of how he came by his powers, despite much research in the order's vast and ancient libraries. Recently, he has found theories that claim that many sorceror bloodlines date back to the Great War being created in the desperation of that era.

I have always considered the age of elf adulthood in pathfinder to be the time that they settle down and get serious about life. A humanoid species that takes over 100 years to reach the human equivalent of 15 would never survive. Thus I assume it takes elves about twice as long to physically mature, then they have a few decades with little responsibility before they figure life out

That's a good point about the BBEG.

By the way, it's Maeron Thurngood. Arandur was the original minor hero from the Great War. Maeron is the descendant and future hero (hopefully).

Silver Crusade

Someone has brought to my attention something that caused me to notice something I should have caught sooner, anyone that rolled 4d6 for character stats, you should have gotten to reroll any ones.
