How much Damage Janni Rush and a Crit

Rules Questions

Seems like a simple question....

Lets assuem a monk hits for 1d10 and has no other bonuses.

He does a Janni Rush which does doulbe damage, and crits.

USUALLY 2 doublings is equal to a trippling in Pathifnder math.

So is it 3d10? or is it 2d10 x2? or is it 1d10 x2 + 1d10?

LEANING towards 1d10 X2 + 1d10 but not quite sure.

Well, in PFS you roll that x2 or x3, so it doesn't matter. If your home game insists you multiply...

While using Janni Style, you are always considered to have a running start when jumping. Further, if you jump as part of a charge and make an unarmed strike against the designated opponent, a hit allows you to roll the unarmed strike's damage dice twice and add the results together before adding modifiers (such as from Strength) or extra dice (such as precision-based damage or dice from weapon abilities). The extra damage dice are not multiplied on a successful critical hit.

Janni Rush gives you 1d10+1d10, NOT 1d10x2. That extra damage does not multiply on a critical, so the crit becomes 1d10x2+1d10.

Thakns Burko... guess I should have looked at the actualy feat instead of the quick write up in the table.

My bad.

It works just like Vital Strike.

So, if your standard damage with an UAS is 1d10+X, a crit on a Janni Rush would give you (1d10+X)+(1d10+X)+1d10. However you ultimately want to roll it up doesn't really matter. Could be as I wrote it out. Could be 3d10+2X. Could be 2d10+2X+1d10. Could be 2x(1d10+X)+1d10 (for instance if you just double your original damage roll for your crit damage).

Roll normal damage twice. Add an additional damage dice roll without any of the other modifiers.
