Does anyone have any suggestions about additional content that I can use supplement my adventure path? The reason for this is that some of my players are absent and I don't want them missing out on key story line points.
The players currently have just finished Foxglove manor and are currently in Sandpoint researching ways of cleansing the house of evil. I would like to have something happen in Magnimar when they arrive or at least have something happen in the background that will serve as a distraction while the rest of the party is gone.
Thanks.

The plotpoint I liked throwing at my players was making them fugitives when Ironbriar realized they were approaching Magnimar. He mobilizes the City guard against them, making it necessary for them to associate with less reputable folk until they are able to get to the Sawmill (Rassimeri Jaikarko is the NPC I used predominantly however you can use anyone from the Magnimar: City of Monuments book).

I had them investigate in town for a while fruitlessly, looking for signs of the brothers.
I had them attacked at night by the stray cat (that I made Assassin Cat or Chassassin in French) while sleeping and helpless ... coup de Grace
I also introduced a Side Trek (the Hellcow II) from the En Route series.
I had them go through an avanced fight vs the Scarecrow : I made it more like the Scarecrow of Batman movies, and I had them fight against hallucinogetic zombies to the tune of Thriller.
After they beat the bad guys and had the house, I also ran them through their own version of "The Hangover movie".
All that said : this part of the adventure really lends itself well for additional materials

The only downside to this is not enough time as gone by for Ironbriar to realize Aldern is dead. Although I could just have a scout report back that was sent to monitor Aldern's activities..... Thanks.

I like the assassin idea. I think I might use that in addition to anything Ironbriar will have planned for them. Thanks.
