Negative time on Tower PvP Window

Most I've come across are in negative or counting down from positive but never contestableb. I came across one north of Rathglen that had been captured by The Bad Guys but was open to be taken from another company ie. seemed to be working right. I came across a number if unclaimed towers in mid south possibly due to being core 6 of inactive settlements.


I think towers captured by non-aligned companies don't go into negative. Just a theory though.

Pretty sure you are spot on there, Doc. Since I have done that. I mean I have captured towers from unsponsored companies.

That would fit with the case I mentioned above. No settlement was listed. I left it unchanged on case devs wanted to check it out.

I just checked around Brighthaven and was able to take a tower from TEO.
I am assuming that TEO is an aligned company ;)

The timer said 3hrs and a bit, but the crossed swords were red and when I entered the tower the count-up started.
I waited to see what would happen and when the counter hit 1000, captured the hex.
I then went and investigated other hexes, those mentioned above, just counting down, unable to cap, but all around Brighthaven, all the hexes were open to being capped, crossed swords on red background and I went into the towers and the count would start.

Now, someone from Brighthaven can go see what happens if they try to take the hex back.
Company: Swiss Mercenaries; Settlement: Hammerfall.

As it is late for me, I did not wait around to see what happened when the timer hit zero, maybe if I have time this weekend.

That sounds like a new bug, acting in the opposite direction. Instead of delaying PVP forever, apparently this bug opened the PVP window early.
