Website Feedback

Hi there all,

I was curious what are people's thoughts on the general usefulness of the messageboards? I am only an occasional player (about 6 times a year)which leads me to the messageboards after each session to try and learn the game better. There are some things I really like about them and some things I think could be better. I would be interested in what other peoples thoughts are as well as if there are any 'tips' on how they use them. These are mostly about rules questions btw.

Here is what I like-
-The response is FAST-A lot of people are on the boards and I always get responses right away which is awesome. It means there are people out there who enjoy answering questions and teaching which is a big help.
-The links to rules and FAQs are really helpful. Sometimes people have seen the same question and can just point you to the right place.
-The ability to submit a question to FAQ is great. There is a way to get a questions answered by the developers if enough people ask.
-The boards are fun. I like that people tend to interact and have a good time as well as answer questions, etc.

Here is things I WOULD like-
-A way to recognize good answers versus ones that seem way off. Maybe somethings like Amazon's "was this review helpful?" tag. Sometimes I see about 5 different opinions on an answer and it's hard to follow what the general consensus is. A tag like this could make it easy for people to vote in when they agree with someone's interpretation/explanation of rules.
-A clearer designation of people's experience and involvement at Pathfinder. I would love to see if people are an 'authority' on the game or just learning like myself. I do see that you can look at a persons profile and see info but maybe something clearer. For an example check out Fantasy Flight Games boards. They are great in this way.
-Getting rid of old or useless threads. It takes forever to sift through old threads and I usually end up just posting a new thread on a question. When I do look through old threads there is no way to tell if the question was actually answered or if the thread went in a different direction. Maybe a way to 'Archive' certain post and mark others as useful.

So, what else do people think?

I think the favorites button does this a little, but I haven't spent a lot of time on these boards so I don't know if it helps much. A wasthis helpful button would be nice, especially if it was tied to the search engine so more helpful posts rose to the top when you search.
