Playtesting Occult Adventures classes by standing them back to back with the classes from Ultimate Psionics. Lets see how they measure up against their counterparts.
The Playtesting will happen in Eberron, set in Karrnath; Rekkenmark specifically. The game is set up around the the theme of Parapsychology Field Investigation, or Ghostbusting. A sort of Call of Cthulhu mixed with Eberron using Pathfinder.
The kingdom that uses the Undead the most has a problem with Ghosts in Rekkenmark. The PCs are a group of Parapsychologists brought in to investigate ghosts. And in a kingdom ruled by a Vampire, its an absolute Irony. No, you won't get to kill King Kaius the Third.
Three adventures, three rounds:
Round 1 -- 3rd Level -- A ghost inhabits the Lord Mayor's mansion and the Lord Mayor recruits the PCs to find the ghost and get rid of it. As the PCs prepare, they have to deal with supernatural threats around the city and in the end, everyone calls them the Ghostbusters.
Round 2 -- 10th Level -- A rising feeling of Hatred and Despair grips Rekkenmark. The Lord Mayor calls on the Ghostbusters again to investigate the threat. What is the threat? The reappearance of powerful Abberant Dragonmarks.
Round 3 -- 15th level -- The Ghostbusters are called in again to deal with a greater threat. Bane learns of Eberron, and deciding that the Planet is ripe for Conquest, decides to invade. Can the Ghostbusters stop a Greater Power from the Forgotten Realms? (Note, he starts a Scientological religion in Eberron).

Use the Eberron Conversion to Pathfinder that Tzizimine created (https://sites.google.com/site/eberronpathfinder/). Except for one difference:
You use 20 point buy. Use your level (3 for first round) to determine your Wealth.
