Sacred Armor and Named Armours

Rules Questions

Hi everyone,
Got a bit of a conundrum here. You cannot enhance a named magical weapon or armour usually, however that restriction is around the crafting of them.

Can a Warpriest enhance Celestial Plate Armor for example to be a +4 full plate with all of the other bonuses?
Thanks for the help.

Why can't you enhance a named magical weapon or armor? in PFS yo ucan't but hten in PFS you can't craft anything.

Lantern Lodge

Specific trumps general rule, so I'd say the War Priest can:

From Sacred Armor - "These bonuses stack with any existing bonuses the armor might have, to a maximum of +5."

His question can't be for PFS anyways, since Celestial Plate Armor was made using 3.5 rules and isn't a PFRPG item (meaning it's not allowed in PFS).

But to answer the question, "These bonuses stack with any existing bonuses the armor might have, to a maximum of +5" seems pretty all encompassing.
