What can I say to the Gamers out there that hasn’t been said yet? Oh, I know. Religions! Truth is that religions can play a powerful role on any game, whether or not you’re personally into them.
Religions can provide:

• Reasons for EVERYTHING
Most history folks are pretty sure that religion started when the smartest member of the tribe looked at the strongest leading the group and decided to get a piece of the action by stating he could talk to the spirits. Since that time, religion has been really useful in explaining the strange things going on that could be later explained by science. Even the Pope is using science these days to explain his god. There is no reason to poo-poo religion in anything we play simply because of a personal belief or experience. Religion in itself is real and people are motivated in all sorts of ways by the things they believe in. Plus religion makes for great story-telling with that age-old classic fight between good and evil.
