Flindbar Stats

Rules Questions

Anyone have the complete stats for one of these?

Thanks in advance

nunchaku?

Could use those, but the Flindbar is metal, the other is wood

Found this on GITP for what it's worth:

A flindbar resembles a pair of chain-linked iron bars, not unlike a flail. This one-handed exotic weapon costs 30 gp, deals 2d4 points of bludgeoning damage, has a threat range of 19-20, deals double damage on a critical hit, and weighs 2 pounds. Flinds treat a flindbar as a martial weapon instead of an exotic weapon.

The wielder of a flindbar gains a +2 bonus on opposed attack rolls made to disarm an enemy (including the roll to avoid being disarmed if such an attempt fails). If a proficient wielder threatens a critical hit, he can make a free disarm attempt against that opponent before confirming the critical hit (this disarm attempt doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity).

Thoughts?

The entire official stats for a flindbar can be found in Monster Codex.

One-handed exotic melee weapon, 9gp, 6 lbs.
1d6 (s) 1d8 (m), 20/x2, B & P, disarm & trip
This one-handed weapon is similar to a nunchaku in that it consists of a pair of bars linked with heavy chain. However, a flindbar’s bars are made of iron and are capped with a ring of spikes or studs. Since it’s much heaver than a nunchaku, it is not a light weapon.

That's all there is too it. Statistically worse than your traditional flail. Requires an extra feat, costs more, weighs more, and all you get out of it over the flail is "and Piercing" damage.

This is the write-up from the new Monster Codex:
