Old Map of Golarion

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hi,

I will be starting a game soon that features a returned city of Azlant that managed to shunt themselves forward in time to survive Earthfall, the Azlanti people will be Manifesters and wield powers ill-understood in this time and age... and the PCs will be struggling to find a place for their society in this age.

I was wondering though... are their any maps of Golarion from before Earthfall. I've been looking and all I can find is some real general stuff... the Azlanti people were super-men capable of magic no one comprehended. Thassilon existed as an offshoot run by magic users (Rune Lords). The Elves knew something bad was about to happen and they high-tailed it... and that's about it.

I'm looking for some details on political rivalries that existed back then or Wars that had just happened.

If anyone knows a place that provides more depth than what I wrote here I would love a link or a line to say what book the info is in.

So.... maps and history... or I guess I start making things up.

BTW: does anyone know why the Azlanti were so uber?

Thank you

Spoilering just in case.

Spoiler:
The Azlanti are so great because the aboleth set everything up for them, to an extent. And it was later the aboleth that called the Starstone down and destroyed the Azlanti. (Also are you aware that Azlanti get +2 to every ability score?)

Spoiler:
The only war I know of is the war the Azlanti had against the serpentfolk. This war ended with the hero Savith beheading their god, Ydersius, and the Azlanti driving the remaining serpentfolk into the Darklands. This, however, was not particularly recent, compared to Earthfall. I forget the exact time frame, but said war happened some hundreds of years prior. Enough time had passed that the Azlanti had established the city of Saventh-Yhi (named after the hero), over a serpentfolk city in the Mwangi Expanse.
