Dread Vampire Template
I wanted to build a powerful Dread Vampire character, probably for the BBEG role but who knows if I find a way to talk my DM into a monster game this could be fun.
I was thinking Human as the race, but Azlanti human is an option (I dont know if they get bonus feat)
We use 3.P so mixing content from 3.5 into PF. A Dread Vampire with Jotunbrud and Troll Blooded (toughness required) would make it even more powerful. Fast Healing 5 and Regen 1 makes this a uber tank.

if you want to do scary stuff make an elf barbarian vampire, favored class bonus plus fleet a few times, plus the barb fast move, acrobatic steps, nimble moves, light step.
Now you create a battle field thats a church full of damaged pews and fallen half crumbled ceiling , with very difficult terrain and he can runs and move everywhere.
loads of fun.

That is a sweet set up of ideas. I almost always have Vampires be or have Sorcerers during battles. Usually the purpose is to have them casting Fog Cloud or something to better help the Vampire Escape if need be, but also allows battlefield control.
I have once had used a rune begin pouring out Fog when the party stepped on it. Had like six or 8 of them set up in areas around the room, near key points. The party got surrounded by Fog and the Vampire would shift form move around and reappear and eventually beat them all down, using non lethal attacks because he needed them to fetch something for him to beat another far more evil vampire.
The party hated it as far as the characters but the players really liked that it was well set up and would be something that a vampire should do.

have you watched dracula untold?
the batswarm form and how the character uses it is really cool.
the move reminded me dracula is, was and always has been, a fighter.
most fantasy GMS always make vamps casters.
Another amusing form of vampire would be a hunt master cavalier, give him a trio of dogs that are also vampire spawn, and load him/them up with teamwork feats and major carnage will ensue.

Its an NPC villain…you can make him whatever you want, you're the DM…standard character building rules don't apply… you can just use them as ideas to base your master villains off of.
as far as ACG goes… Bloodrager would be interesting and Thematic?
they have an undead bloodline…but arcane looks interesting too.
I just had a thought I don't know the answer to, offhand.
Can a damper be turned into a vampire?

Ehh rage gives morale bonuses
Undead are immune to moraleSo it's not that worth it imo.

How about a variant Oradin? Take 2 levels of Antipaladin and the rest as an oracle of bones. This gives you a CHA based caster who wears full plate. CHA to saves is also a big help. Smite good is a nasty surprise to the paladin in the group. Not so much for the damage, but getting CHA to hit and AC is going partially counter smite good.
Wearing full plate will probably throw the party off a little. More than likely they will assume he is some sort of martial class instead of a spell caster. If the party is going to encounter him multiple times have him not use spells the first couple of times to reinforce this idea. Then when they least expect it have him cast flame strike on the party. Also having a couple of demon summoned by planar ally is going to be a nice touch.
Pureblood Azlanti are still human so get everything a human gets except they get +2 on all stats. If you are not a pureblood Azlanti you are just a normal human with a bonus language.

Keep in mind that this is a very strong build and even knowing what they are up against it will be extremely tough to take down. Your characters are going to need to be very competent to take him down.
Everything is based on CHA which will probably be through the roof. Your STR will be high enough that you can go toe to toe with the front line melee characters. Give him Bastards Sting for 2d6 negative energy damage to anyone adjacent to him. This works really well with the Bleeding Wounds revelation. The fast healing from the sword should also stack with the fast healing from being a vampire to give him fast healing 10.
