Frontier and Pirate style products

Liberty's Edge

I'm working on a campaign styled on a frontier. Humans are moving into an area where, up to now, they have not occupied. Other humanoids, such as orcs, goblins, and centaurs, already live in this region in small tribal groups. Naturally, there is going to be friction as humans encroach on their territory and start fencing things in. It's analogous to American western stories, but it's not a direct copy. Land is used either for farming or mining. Most cargo is transported by skyships, so piracy is also a big factor. Think Lone Ranger meets Pirates of Caribbean. So far, I have the following products:

Avalon's Homestead Guide to Frontier Life
ICOSA's Pure Steam Campaign
Green Ronin's Freeport Pathfinder Edition
Kyoudi's Thunderscape the World of Aden
Frog God Games Razor Coast Campaign Setting and Freebooter's Guide to the Razor Coast.
Rogue Genius Game's Fight Like a Pirate

Any other third party products that could be used for inspiration for frontier and/or pirate based campaigns?

There is the Airships d20 book from Bastion Press. I've had a copy for years, and I find it invaluable.

I've been toying with a 'fantasy wild west' campaign for a while now. Have 2 custom alternate classes 'mostly' done (one for rogue and one for paladin).

Also, something I was planning on doing for this campaign was taking 2-3 published standalone adventures for level 1 and putting the adventure leads on a 'newspaper flyer' where each article shown was one of the adventures. The players would be given one of these newspaper flyers by a news crier in the main city of the setting, and they could choose which lead to follow. It's not terribly hard to 'convert' the setting of some adventures to a frontier feel.

One of the adventures I had on the flyer was Hollow's Last Hope. The town is a logging town, which fits perfectly in a frontier setting. It also mentioned the alchemist that the players need to contact in the town, which gives them a good reason to contact her.

For some piratey goodness, look into Legendary Games's Pirate Adventure Path plugins. Plenty of cool stuff there.

You mean these Pirate AP Plug-Ins right here?

Also available right here on Paizo.com!

If it's not too self-serving, Heart of the Razor contains 4 independent adventures set on the Razor Coast, specifically intended to flesh out a campaign. And it won a Silver Ennie. ;)

Also for a mechanics supplement, I'm very proud of what John Ling and I did for ship-to-ship combat in Fire As She Bears.

And Rogue Genius (when they were still Super Genius) published my own little take on swashbuckling action in Brace of Pistols.

Hope that contributes.

Pirates of the Western Seas has a couple of pirates, some islands, NPCs, a bit of mysterious aboleth magic, and some general spells. I think there are a couple of monsters in there, too.

I backed Worldspinner on Day 1. :) Thanks for the tip, though, and I hope more people do. Looks like a great map-making/world-building tool.

Thank you for mentioning this (since I didn't see the thread myself at first).

Also, I would recommend Book of Multifarious Munitions: 10 Pirate Ships. This will add some spice to your sea vehicles.
