In the original various background traits were made as feats. (Probably because it was 3.5.) With this edition coming out after the Pathfinder roleplaying game, did they turn those into traits, or do they remain feats.

I ended up giving the players the bonus feats from the original edition, and then traits as well; I have the AE edition but I didn't see the AE version of the players' guide until later.
But I don't feel it has imbalanced the game.
Varisian Tattoo is the only really strong one the group picked, and the sorcerer in my game kind of needs it.
