I was wondering if there are, or will be, keyboard commands to select other players you are adventuring with.
I was also wondering if there is, or will be, an auto-follow command in the game.
F1 - Target yourself.
F2 through F7 - Target the other party members.
As far as I know, there isn't an auto-follow system yet. I don't know whether GW is planning to add one.
Please note that the system will allow you to hurt yourself and your party members. Make sure you know who your current target is before you launch an attack.

I just wish there was a key that didn't have anything mapped to it at all, so I could press to talk without toggling my sprint.
Scroll wheel functioning on inventory and feat lists would also be nice.
Autofollowing sounds like a great way to get your train killed as you maneuver around high-escalation hexes trying to avoid Undeath Squads.

... I've many keys with no function...
Are you saying you have "many keys" on your keyboard that don't have any function in any application? I think that's what Ulf is asking for, and I've often asked for the same thing on my mouse.
It's easy enough to find a key that doesn't already do something specific in PFO, but finding a key or button that doesn't have unpleasant side effects in every application is nigh impossible.
My push-to-talk button has the "Back" functionality, so I can't press it while I'm focused on a web browser, and even inside Visual Studio it occasionally does strange things.

Depending on your mouse & driver, you can potentially disable this. I also use a button normally associated with 'Back' (side mouse buttons are great, right?!), but I was able to unbind that in the Logitech control panel. YMMV.

When we talk about such stuff, is there a way to connect Alt to a mousedrag? What I want is to toggle that frakking camera to hold still until I actually want it to move, and not while I scroll my inventory.
It is not yet possible to use modifier keys in PFO's keybindings.
However, if you're technically inclined, you could probably accomplish what you want with AutoHotKey. That's what I used to map my Nostromo and translate to keypresses that PFO can understand.
I have Right <ctrl> mapped to push-to-talk. It works for me.
If you are scrolling through a web page while talking, you'll stop scrolling and start zooming instead. This is the fundamental problem we're talking about. There just aren't any keys that don't already have some functionality bound to them.

I ended up binding my PTT mouse button to scroll lock, and learned to double-tap when using a program that cares about scroll lock.
I suspect that Scroll Lock and Pause/Break probably interfere with the fewest other programs.
I found another option a few years ago - I went into the Windows 7 Control Panel, disabled the left Windows key, and used it as my push-to-talk key. I rarely push the Windows key for its intended purpose, and it's annoying to be dragged out of a game whenever I miss Ctrl or Alt and hit that key. Windows 8 users may not have this option, but I think it can still be done in Windows 7.
