So when the new season came out I had my Half-Orc Fighter enter the first scenario. Did fairly well but the loot seemed meh to me. Later when I was doing additional reading on the new stuff did I discover Chainsaws are an Exotic weapon! Totally want one. That being said, what feats would be needed to use a Chainsaw? Simply "Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Chainsaw" or do I have to take the Technologist Feat as well?
Also, I heard that the actual book that contains technology is banned in Pathfinder Society Official Play, is this true? And if so, could I still use a Chainsaw if I find one in a Chronicle Sheet?
And lastly, would a Chainsaw be usable for a Titan-Mauler's Jotungrip? I don't have a Titan-Mauler, but it's something I'm curios about.

Greetings Malakaus!
For general questions about what is legal from any given source, be sure to consult the Additional Resources page (you can even print it out and bring it with you for others to peruse).
For your particular question, I used CTRL+F for "tech" and found this:
Archetypes: all archetypes on pages 12-13 are legal for play, except Cyber-Soldier and Techslinger; Equipment: None of the equipment is legal for play; Feats: all feats on pages 6-7 are legal for play, except craft cybernetics, craft pharmaceutical, craft technological arms and armor, and craft technological item; Misc.: Androffan may not be chosen as a known language. It may only be acquired through a Chronicle sheet; Prestige Class: the Technomancer prestige class is not legal for play; Skills: all skills on page 5 are legal for play, except linguistics (Androffan); Spells: all spells on pages 8-11 are legal for play, except irradiate, memory of function, and recharge.
The section that states "None of the equipment is legal for play" pretty much encompasses chainsaws. As Ellias Aubec mentioned, the only way to obtain one (at this point) would be via a Chronicle Boon, or some other non-standard achievement.
As far as your regular rules questions go, I'd suggest shooting over to the Rules Questions Forum for a more general inquiry. If you do a search over there, perhaps you'll find that your questions have already been asked!
