okay so having just left the tattoo parlor, is there a way or a place to show off our pathfinder tats? I'm dying to show this one off.
Take photo, post to pastebin, linkify it.

Rysky, nice! I especially like the use of tone to keep it from looking like a tribal. That was really the barrier to my sihedron tattoo plans.

Oh man, I'm super excited to see what shows up on this thread! :)
I was considering getting my avatar as a tattoo. Though ink master has scared me to death of ever getting a tattoo....
I have suspicions that the horrible tattoos on inkmaster are more often the results of 1: The work being rushed and 2: The producers being more interested in having the worst people on the face of the planet to create drama rather than a real contest of skills.

Thankies, that was actually the Tattoist's (Tattooer's? The guy who did it.) suggestion. He knew almost nothing about Pathfinder but still went over the design with me so it wouldn't end up looking flat, I most definitely got my money's worth ^w^

I prefer Ink Nigtmares personally, the coverups tend to look frickin sweet.

No pictures, but back in 2010, forum members Moorluck, Woodraven, and myself all got Paizo golem tattoos in Myrtle Beach, SC. A couple weeks later, we were all at Paizocon, I managed to freak out Lisa Stevens by taking my shirt off to show her.

Possibly. When I watch I am like "oh that came out really nice" ten the judges tear it apart and I am like "damn they are so right."
I took a peak at the local websites for places in town here. The artwork on display is pretty bad.
The combo of not being impressed with what I am seeing around town and the talented artist on ink master screwing the pooch has me staying away.

I've met both Kevin and Dave in person, and I can confirm that they are not one another's dopplgänger.
Surely there are more of us with pathfinder themed tattoos. No one else willing to share pics?
I want a tattoo but I'm also pretty skinny and they say that getting ink hurts pretty bad when it's close to the bone. anybody have any exp there?
Some of that depends on where you get your tattoo and who does the work, and how well you deal with pain/discomfort. There are definitely certain spots that cane be more painful than others, but I don't think how lean a person is has as much to do with it than some of the other factors. (I only have a few tattoos, but I'm a thin guy as well.)

I have two at the moment, one on my leg and one on my back. The one on my leg only bothered me when he did anything on my shin and my back only hurt whenever he crossed over my spine. To me the outline is the only really painful part. I can almost fall asleep while they are doing the coloring and shading.
what I have in mind would go over my ribs I guess but not the spine. good to know, thanks guys.
I've heard that the ribs are very tender but that's just info I've gathered from tv shows. I personally don't know anyone that has had their ribs done yet.
