Looking for ideas for 20th / Mythic 10 Gnome to trip huge creatures? Ki Throw means any size creature?

Rules Questions

Looking for any feats/traits/magic items (PF only) that will help my gnome trip any size creatures, but especially the bigger monster the better! So anything that will help improve my character's CMB will especially help!

NOTE: I'm already set on being a monk! And maybe a Master of Many Styles Archetype?

I've found the obvious stuff;

Monk Class-> adds Wis+Monk Levels to CMB/CMD

Combat expertise->Improved Trip->Greater Trip

Archetype: Master of Many Styles-> Earth Child Style/Toppler/Binder
against Giants +6 AC, trip up to huge size giant, trip any size giant subtype+Stunning fist attack after trip, + AOO when they stand from a trip. Also add WIS to CM checks to trip giants.

Ki Throw means I can throw any size creature after spending a Ki Point?

Tripping Strike

MYTHIC IDEAS

Titan Strike
Improved Trip

This should clear that question up:

Special: A monk with this feat can affect creatures larger than his own size by spending 1 ki point per size category difference.

link doesn't work, but hopefully this one does. I now see the 1 Ki point per size..Cool thanks.

If you aren't set on Gnome, you could go Halfling with the Underfoot Adept archetype. At level 20 you would be able to trip Gargantuan creatures IIRC.

There is the Punishing Kick Feat. Punishing Kick sort of works like Stunning Fist, except instead of making your target Stunned, you make him Prone. Making someone Prone is not quite the same thing as Tripping him, but sometimes it's almost as nice. If you have Vicious Stomp, you get one AoO as he goes down, and you still get an AoO as he tries to get up.

There is also the Goblin Feat Tangle Feet.

Since you are talking about a character above level 12, this is not a PFS game. Would your DM let you take 1 or 2 3.5 Feats? For you, I'm thinking Confound the Bigfolk which has the prerequisite Underfoot Fighting. CtB lets you trip monsters 2 sizes bigger than you, cancelling their size bonus and dex bonus.

We're only allowed PF feats! argghh!

Punishing Kick has potential, but the save will be easy to beat, especially at mid level and higher.

It's one of the reasons why I when I made my Halfling melee character, I didn't go for Tripping. I went for Dirty Tricks to make my opponents Blind, then I'm taking some levels in Rogue for Sneak Attack damage.

To get lots of Attacks of Opportunity, I'm getting him Snake Fang.'

I personally detest the size limitations on Tripping, Bull Rushing, and other maneuvers. I feel like it is redundant with other game mechanics, and I feel it violates the whole idea of heroic fantasy games.

There already are sized based penalties and bonuses based on size. You don't need to just rule that some size differences are impossible to deal with. If they didn't think it is hard enough for a Gnome to Bull Rush an Elephant, then they could have just made the differences bigger. A Gnome is a Small creature with a size mod of -2. An elephant is an Huge creature with a size mod of +4. If you think you are badass enough to overcome the -6 penalty with your other bonuses and Bull Rush an elephant, what DM on Earth would want to see you NOT try to make that roll! If you fail the result will be funny. If you succeed, the result will be hilarious!

Fantasy Humans are not like Real World humans. You could plausibly argue that Akebono, the first non-Japanese Sumor Wrestler to be given Yakazuna rank, could not really bull rush a rhinocerous, but Ram Man from the He Man cartoons could. You can argue that Morei Ueshiba, the founder of the martial art Aikido, would not be able to trip an elephant, but Xena the Warrior Princess could. The difference between my Tripping fighter that I had in a 3.5 campaign and Ueshiba, is that Ueshiba is a real person, and my fighter is a fantasy person. The difference between him and Xena is that he is lower level.

It's especially bad for Gnomes. Gnome have the Hooked Hammer racial weapon. It's a Tripping weapon, but whom are they going to trip when they are size small? It's crap!

Sorry about the ranting, there.

Remember that the DC for your saving throw for Punishing Kick goes up with your level, and I think your Wisdom, just like Stunning Fist's does. Also, remember there are ways of giving yourself an ability boost.

Here's a thought. How about you take a level in a class that gives you access to the Chaos Cleric Domain? Touch of Chaos forces your victims to roll twice and take the worse result.

Obviously kobolds and goblins, their hated enemies.
