Hi all,

So my daughter has the Merchantman ship at Shark Island. My character is at the Floating Shipyard.

So is she on the ship right now during her turn at her location and on my turn I am not on the ship at my location? Trying to understand pg 17 ("commanding and moving ships") in the rule book.

Thanks,

Third Base

Oh I see - someone has to decide who is taking the ship at the start of the game (if you decide to split up).

So I guess my new question is this: when are you "on the ship?" Is my daughter's character "on" it because she took it with her to her location?

Oh I see - she's considered on it. Sorry, for talking this out. I would delete the thread if I could.

To give an explanation for anyone else who comes across the thread

Certain scenarios say the ship is anchored at a location. Anyone at that location at any time is considered to be on the ship.

If the ship is not anchored during a scenario, the current player who is taking their turn is always on the ship, as is anyone at the same location as that player.
