non-ARG race age / height / weight tables?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Was there ever age/height/race tables put out for Bestiary 4 races and Inner Sea Bestiary races? What about "blood of" races?

Only ref I've been able to find was "(All skinwalkers) have the same random starting age, aging effects, and random height and weight as a human." in blood of the moon.

ARG covers 37 out of 92 (92 includes the heritages as well).

Thanks

sorry, out of 84, not 92

Guess I should look in old d20 material for the missing ones then

A number of the races you are describing, my team and I are writing right now. Information on height and weight will be included in their write-ups.

"Complete" Height and Weight Chart

"Complete" Age Chart

I put this together a little while ago. I don't have skinwalkers or newer stuff in there, but this might give you an idea. The chart also includes height and weight for playing young characters using the Paizo mechanics from Ultimate Campaign, although I had to dig through sociological research to get the numbers and extrapolate for other races.

Keep in mind that the age numbers for planetouched(aasimar, tieflings, etc) are way off. They should be the same as their parent race.

Why should they be the same as their parent race? (<--real question)

ARG lumps all the elemental planetouched, Aasimar, Tiefling, and Samsaran together in the same age progression beginning at 60 year old adulthood.

It's what they've been in every iteration of the game including Pathfinder's actual setting material(Blood of Fiends/Angels) except that chart in the ARG, which James Jacobs himself has called out as being in error. Starting adulthood at 60 years is just the start of the problem using those numbers, as it pretty much wrecks nearly every aasimar/tiefling backstory ever made before those numbers got put out and legalized for PFS.

Add in the adversity tieflings face right out of the gate and a prolonged childhood means that their numbers should be even lower than they already are, especially when the two places where they're most numerous in the setting either stigmatize them heavily or is nightmarish hellhole that lowers the odds of surviving those formative years even less likely. It also flies in the face of canon regarding numerous tiefling and aasimar NPCs scattered throughout the setting.

Rise of the Runelords spoiler:
Starting with the very first big villain in the first AP, whose childhood and adulthood timescale is pretty important.

The differences get even greater with Blood of Fiends mention that tiefling lifespans are often shorter than their parents' because of how their fiendish elements sometimes don't play nice with their mortal biology.

Personally, the ARG numbers would wreak havoc on every one of my aasimar or tiefling character's backgrounds. My WotR PC couldn't have possibly survived childhood or be the person he is currently if he was forced to have 60 years under his belt. Thankfully, the ARG's numbers are supposed to get fixed when that book gets a reprint. :)

Wow. Is ARG errata available somewhere? Does this apply to Samsaran and the 4 elemental races as well?

Not yet AFAIK. It's fairly low on the priority list for errata I think, and there may be complicating PFS matters. As far as the elemental races, I think it's been stated they should work like tieflings and aasimar, but if anything's been said on that matter it's somewhere in the Ask James Jacobs thread. It may take some searching to dig up, whatever the answer is on that. (I'd try to find it, but work D:)

lol, I hear ya. Thanks much Mikaze.

And here is the link to James Jacob's posts stating that Aasimar and Tiefling age categories should match that of Humans:

All of Jon Brazer Enterprises' downloads can be found here. However, the specific races that you are talking about, my team and I only started working on them this month so they are not available for download yet.
