Yohoho and a bottle of magic (aka making a pirate magus)

Advice

I'm playing around with making a pirate themed magus, the hardest challenge a the moment being what feats to get, here's his current stats, keep in mind I'm starting him off at level 7 for the campaign he's in since my old character died

I'm using the Greensting Magus archetype to get sneak attack and evasion

Arcana are: Familiar (Monkey), and Prescient Attack

Feats are:
Human Feat: Improved Initiative
1st feat: Dodge
3rd feat: Weapon Focus (Cutlass)
5th feat: Extra Arcane Pool
Magus Feat: Power Attack
7th feat: Spell Penetration

I'm not sure what question you're asking here, so some general comments.

Why go for an archetype with sneak attack? You've got no special ability to deliver it and it appears to be an amazingly inefficient way to use your arcane pool anyway. A myrmidiarch could get proficiency in a firearm to deliver spells if you want to play up to a pirate stereotype, or eldritch scion if you'd rather be charismatic, or hexcrafter to play up to the voodoo angle. Greensting Slayer doesn't have a lot going for it.

There is always a better feat to take than Dodge if you're not using it for a prereq. If nothing else Additional Traits or some metamagic feat, or Step Up (you could take Spell Pen at L1 if you need to rejig the order of feats, given you're actually starting at L7).

Any other suggestions?

Greensting Slayer is pretty bad tbh. If you're using a cutlass, why not go for a Dervish Dance (cutlass and scimitar are mechanically identical) or Slashing Grace build? High Dex means lighter armor, which seems more piratical.

Dodge just by itself is a bad usage of a feat. You'd get more mileage out of pretty much anything else.

Eldritch Scion is a decent option, especially as I see pirates as more charismatic than intelligent. The Arcane, Destined, Elemental, and Draconic bloodlines are solid options.

Also think about traits. Fate's Favored (especially if going Destined) is a good one. Call of the Longships is also a fantastic one for a nautical campaign.

Well I took greensting not just for the sneak attack but also for evasion since I'm not gonna be using medium or heavy armor anyways

And Dervish Dance seems pretty outplayed at this point, so I'd rather not go the obvious route
