Advice on Growth of Monk / SFWarpriest

Silver Crusade

I think I've settled on what class really pertains to my personality, and also what I think would really be a lot of fun. I'm going to create a Master of Many Styles, Qinggong, Monk of the Sacred Mountain or Terracota, Monk of 2 levels, plus 10 levels of Sacred Fist Warpriest. This will be a Dex/Wis based build: For PFS.

The only problem I'm having, is how I should build him for the short-run and long-run. It'll be based around charging for a full attack, retorting with unarmed damage or an unarmed strike in which to use a combat maneuver with for every time a melee opponent misses me, and otherwise using spells for various things, using Fervor to Swift action a spell onto myself(especially something that gives +attack or +ac/protection/saves). He will also focus on disabling enemies with Trip, Disarm, Stunning Fist, and Punishing Kick.

Level 1: Feat - Pummeling Style -> Class Ability - Aura, Blessings(Minor), Orisons, IUS, AC Bonus(su), Flurry of Blows -> Human Feat - Weapon Finesse
Level 2: Class Ability - Improved Unarmed Strike, AC Bonus(ex), Stunning Fist -> Bonus Feat - Pummeling Charge
Level 3: Feat - Snake Style -> Class Ability Toughness/NatArmor+1 -> Bonus Feat - Snake Fang
Level 4: Class Ability - Blessed Fortitude
Level 5: Feat - Combat Style Master -> Class Ability - Fervor 1d6
Level 6: Class Ability - Channel Energy -> Human/Warprirest Favored - Combat Reflexes
Level 7: Feat - Punishing Kick -> Class Ability - Fervor 2d6
Level 8: Bonus Feat - Monkey Style or Dragon Style
Level 9: Feat - Piranha Strike -> Class Ability - Ki Pool(magic)
Level 10: Class Ability - Fervor 3d6
Level 11: Feat - ???? -> Class Ability - Miraculous Fortitude
Level 12: Class Ability - Blessings(Major), Ki Pool(Cold iron/Silver) -> Human/Warpriest Favored - ????

Any advice on how to build the levels 1-6 to be efficient with character growth?

Spend a bunch of GM chronicles getting him to 18 pa and buy an agile amulet out the gate! That's what I did:)

Is there anything that explains GM Chornicles? and PA? I'm so very new with PFS :T Having an AoMF w/Agile would seriously help at the start!

This character is not legal.

You cannot take combat style master until 9th.
Instead take this feat tree
H) Weapon finesse
1) Pummeling style
M2) Pummeling charge
3) Snake style
M3) Snake Fang
5) Combat reflexes (How can you even do this build without it?)
7) ?
SF style) Take dragon so you can charge over terrain and through allies just in case. Swap out as a free action with style master.
9) Combat style master
11) Quicken blessings

Ah Boogers. I was thinking of my Flurry BAB. Okay! Good idea.

Hey i want to know what ability scores u have, which blessings u take? thx.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I'm just going to point out that mage armor is a cheap way to make your AC awesome. Wands in PFS or potions are good.

Its in the PFS guide to organized play, season 6. Its a free download, so you should definitely download and at least skim it at some point.

If you run a game, you get a GM chronicle. You can apply a GM chronicle to a new level 1 PC or to a PC thats in range. You get max Gold, Fame, PA and any boons on there, but you don't get the boons anymore until your the appropriate level.

PA/Fame determines what your purchase limit is for PFS. The big number is 18PA because thats when you can buy 5k GP items and less (which is where most the good items start to come up).

A chronicle will normally give 2PA, so you'd have to apply 9 chronicles to your PC, which would start you at level 4. My Monk/SF is a dwarf with 7 strength (cause carrying capacity, ha, still stronger than most of you) but there was no way I was gonna play those levels!

You can also use the rebuild rules, play a fighter at level 1 and then rebuild at 2, then apply your chronicles, then you only need 6 chronicles.

Hope I wasn't too confusing:)

Liberation as my Minor, and either Freedom's Call or Greater Invisibility for the Major.

Ability scores are at:
Str 10
Dex 18
Con 12
Int 12
Wis 16
Cha 7
