As the title says I need help spending aprox 600,000gp as I have never had close to this much money to spend. My character is a Aasimar(Azata-Blooded) whose class is Nature Oracle(Dual-Curse Archtype) 17/Mammoth Rider(Prestige Class) 1. Her Bonded Mount is A Megaloceros with the Charge Archtype. She has taken the Favored Class Bonus to Treat Her Level as +1/2 higher when concerning her Bonded Animal Mystery. So Megaloceros has stats as if it were bonded to a level 26 Druid(Yes I did get GM approval that a animal companion can get stats higher then those presented on the Animal Companion Page). Oracle is Focused on Buffing/Debuffing With things like Silence, Glitterdust, Bestow Curse, Fickle Winds, Barksin, ect., the only damage spells she has are Admonishing Ray(2nd), Destruction(7th), Firestorm(8th), and the (Su) Ability Leech Life she gets from her mystery.

If you need to know anything else just ask and Ill post up the details as soon as I can. Ive never had this much gold and have no idea what to spend it on.
P.S. We do know this amount of money is like 40%~ over WBL. GM Really likes running high power stuff and interesting monsters he doesn't usually get to play with. So our gold is higher then average to compensate.

The usual stuffs:
-Tome of leadership and influence+5
-Headband of Charisma+6
-Ring of protection+5
-Cloak of Resistance+5
Now the rest of magical items would depend on what kind of campaign it would be. Like if you are going to hell and fighting devils, a devil bane or a holy weapon might come in handy. Don't hesitate to get items with some utilities.
Feat wise, you might consider grabbing divine protection, it would massively increase your save bonuses.

Holycrap that feat is OP. Didnt know it existed till you posted that but now I will never forget it.
Tomb of Leadership is definatly a good option. Already have a +6 headband.Have also already used up my two ring slots. One for sidestep Secret(Ad Charisma to AC and Reflex) and War Sight(Roll Init 3 times and take best result). Sidestep gives better AC then the ring and Init is the most important thing for a spellcaster so I feel they beat out the +5 Deflection.
My otherworldly Kimono gives a +4 to all saves(1 less then Cloak of Resistance) along with a + to caster level checks which helps with SR and concentration, and a pretty sweet no save High DC capturing abilities for those super strong bosses or impenetrable meat tanks. I think those outweigh the 1 less on other saves, especially with that new feat you just showed me!

71 of these. Enjoy your limitless gate effects.
(Or the homunculus god, but since that one was already taken...; though it should be noted, you need to get the demiplane online for that to function right...)
Also, start blending some of your items into overlap. Never go without stuff again, because you have it three times!
Alternatively, invest in a kingdom. You could instantly net a (minimum) of 150 BP - enough for three really major buildings (or two, if one of those is a Waterfront). (If you are entirely a self-starter, depending on where your gold came from, and your generous GM, you could start with up to 600 BP - that's enough for a lot of major construction, no matter how you slice it.)

Let's see...
Uparmor the Amulet to +5, (48k)
Grab a ring of protection +5 (50k), it may have to take up a different slot, since megaloceros don't got fingers.
Page of Spell knowldge of Miracle and Create Greater Demiplane (162k)
2 Runestones of power 9 (324k)
With 5 miracles a day you can stack a +5 inherent bonus on every ability score, and with greater demiplanes you have a retreat where time flows faster.
The remaining cash can be spent on small but useful items and sundries, like 3 wands of cure light (most cost-effective healing you'll find), expensive material components for the expensive spells (True Seeing, for example). You'll probably want to Miracle up some magic weapons and equipment (probably has to stay under 25k per casting) while you're at it.
Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?

+1 Courageous Spiked Gauntlet
+1 Deathless, Ghost Touch, Heavy Fortification Adamantine Haramaki
+1 Animated Ghost Touch Mithril Heavy Shield
Just a few suggestions.
@ boring7 sadly you cannot use Miracle RAW to grant Stat boosts.

Here's a list of things I'd be looking for put into terms of what I want to gain or protect myself from rather than Items themselves. Some you can't get via Items unless custom stuff is on the table.
Abilities and Protections sought for high level and epic level play:
• Death Ward
• Freedom of Movement
• Evasion or Improved Evasion
• Hierarchy of saving throws -> Fortitude, then Will, then Reflex. By this I mean I value a good Fortitude save the most. The effects of failure are often fatal. Will is next most important perhaps as important as Fortitude as failure often leaves the character mental incapacitated or enslaved to another creature. Reflex is least important as it typically involves only damage often elemental damage. Then again watch out for casters using Dazing spells (and other status effect metamagic).
• Immunity to Precision attacks/damage such as Sneak Attack, i.e. ‘Fortification’
• Fast Healing
• Damage Reduction particularly DR= xx/-
• Planar Adaptability, ability to survive in extra planar (non-Material) environments.
NOG the Demoralizer |
There is that hand of glory from UE that gives you an extra ring slot if you aren't going to get an amulet on your own character. If you can put one on your megalocerous instead of the natural armor amulet that would get him a ring slot as well. This would allow you to blow a bunch of cash on a ring of greater fortitude, a ring of major spell storing, a ring of evasion, or a ring of spell turning.
Beyond that as suggested above, a +5 tome of leadership would be nice, and maybe a selection of greater metamagic rods... extend, selective, reach etc.
Kayerloth |
Funny story: I've actually been finding a lot of value in searching for off-standard spells that do nasty things (besides just HP damage) with failed reflex saves. Seems most high-level monsters soak their reflex as well.
Of course, Icy Prison isn't so useful against freedom of movement...
*Picks up quill, yes please do tell.*
My wizard would be doing the same thing ... And being third, of course, doesn't mean unimportant or the Evasion/Improved Evasion among other things wouldn't also be on his list.

That's what I would do. Lots more roleplaying opportunities to be had!

Some kind of base of operations would be a good idea. Perhaps on another plane of reality as you know that sounds 18th level-ish. Properly staffed of course as well.
I might also suggest a Clone spell precast for you and all your followers just as a precaution plus the laboratory and a few back up items just in case.

True!
(Were it me, though, I might craft the tiny god, and then get him to simply re-grant me all the wealth spent... thereafter, I would put him in storage in his special happy place - the demiplane I created him in - and invest all of it into said kingdom. Probably with him granting me ever-more wealth...)

Demiplanes are usually best. And arguably you can stick a permanent gate to it in your awesome 60k gold airship you use to get around in style.
A permanent demiplane is about 25k for a single chunk (you can combine multiple chunks if you want more space). This can drop to around 500 gold if you can create the demiplane yourself, and presume that you can create a demiplane made entirely of diamond, which you then powderize and use as components for the contracted permanency spell you'll need.
And if you can do the above and you have a wizard cohort of the appropriate level (or Miracle) that price drops to zero.
To take this a step further, you could start Tacticslion's Kingdom, and place the majority of it inside a demiplane, with a fleet of Fabricated (as the spell) ships each carrying a gate to the ultimate in trade cities, looked after by your mighty construct-boosted army and protected by permanent Hallow/dimensional lock spells.
Add in a few Telepathic bonded constructs and major image generators as CCTV and you've got a secure, powerful, insanely profitable futuristic domed city.
Oh wait, you're a natureboy, well I guess you could still do that with beautiful forest arcology of trade and awesomeness.

Screw the airship. I'll be getting me one of THESE, the better to lord over my kingdom below (on my private demiplane of course).

If you're not doing a kingdom and you want some RP possibilities for downtime, how about an organization? You can spend a decent amount of gold to buy appropriate buildings and organizations. Example: Perhaps you are the patriarch of a major religious organization, with cathedrals or temples (and the requisite staff and managers) in several cities across the adventuring area. Additionally, use the Create Demiplane spells to create your private demiplane (suggested elsewhere here) and place a gate to the demiplane in each of your major cathedrals. Since you're a nature oracle who rides a mammoth, your demiplane (presumably not too big, to save costs) should be a snowy clearing beside a small spring in the middle of an incredibly cold, somewhat foreboding wood. In the center of the clearing is a continually burning fire, and a humble tent that you call your home away from home.
People can enter this demiplane through a humble door in each of your major cathedrals. If the abbot of one of your cathedrals uses this door, he is deposited in the clearing. If someone unwelcome in your demiplane uses this door, he finds himself lost in the woods. (Maybe your GM would let you have an enchantment/illusion effect to make them scared and hear lots of wild animals).

Thank You All For So Much Great Advice! Still reading through some of it xD
For those recommending a kingdom I have already created something similar. I borrowed the Lyre of Building from someone along our journey and me and our rogue used it to create a kingdom(still expanding). My nature oracle is currently the High Priest of the Church of the Camel. Previous to my Megalocerous I was in possession of a Huge Celestial Camel that spoke Celestial Common and a few other languages. Rollplayed him well as a wise and mythical beast that had been touched by godhood. Sadly because I'm a powergamer at heart and was almost sure he would die if I kept him as we leveled I released him and took the Megalocerous. Despite that the faith continued to grow and has now become a reasonably popular religion.
Have a base of operations aswell simply called "The Tavern". A gift given to us after accomplishing some extremely unlikely task. Tavern restores any patron of the bar to life if brought within it. Also Refreshes all Patrons as if having slept for 8 hours and performing the required task(Memorizing Spells, Performing Rituals, Ect.). Currently the owner of the bar is a terrible businessman and bartender so we are the only consistent customers. Would have shut down long ago if not for the fact that is magically charges you even for entering(Without your knowledge).
The tiny god idea is indeed cool but I dont think my GM would be ok with it. Ill pass it by him though cause while OP it also sounds kinda fun and a great addition to our kingdom xD
Also, Agree with Anzyr. Bead of Karma OP.

Hell, the way I do airships they ARE the same thing. Animated Object flying boat may be slow, but it is dependable, and I think there are ways to amp up its speed a bit.
And you can link it to the Prime material Kingdom (and your Tavern) easily enough.
But that's all "riding in style", for matters of kicking in doors, fighting monsters, and searching rooms a few scrolls of the really good but really situational (and thus often not taken by an Oracle) spells are a good idea. True Seeing, Stoneskin, Restoration, all spring to mind.
Also air supplies are often a good thing to have. "Couldn't enter the dungeon because no one had water breathing" or "asphyxiated because of a vacuum" are rather ignominious ends.

An aged man hunched over with many years slowly walked up to the cliff's edge, overlooking the sea. Though the horizon below and beyond conveyed great beauty of land and sea, his weathered eyes did not see it; for the weight of a heavy burden rested on his shoulders and filled all his thoughts. Though he had already made his decision, he still doubted if it was the right thing to do. After a moment's hesitation, he decided that yes, it was something that had to be done. Only by this terrible act might his kingdom be saved. With renewed determination, the man who looked only a moment ago to be old and haggard suddenly stood up straight and tall. As the sun hit his face his eyes lit up with vigor possessed by few men. Where once was an old man near the end of his life now stood a proud, wise and learned king; his face creased with the many years of service to his people. Resolutely, he rolled up his sleeves, lifted up his scepter-staff in both hands, and inhaled before bellowing to all the world around:
"SET LOOSE THE KRAK--"
Suddenly, a young man appeared from behind, tugging urgently at the hem of the lordly robe. Flustered at the interruption, the king leaned slightly as the youthful servant whispered something hastily into his liege's ear.
A look of surprise and disbelief came over the king's face. Nevertheless, he recomposed himself and returned to his duty. Somewhere at the base of the hill leading up to the cliff, someone coughed nervously.
"Set loose the tiny god homonculus!"
Upon hearing the words a woman feinted, a man screamed, and all the world trembled.

I should tell you about the time in a one-player game where there was a genie (very different from the standard ones), a large number of black ships from Leng - including one stolen by the PC - in the sky (none of them could fly), a godlike PC with a minor artifact weapon, and the "FVRONGMM!" sound from the Inception trailer.
It was... pretty epic. :D
EDIT: Actually, I'd forgotten: I already did! :D
EDIT: Sound effects and trailers, oh my!

As the title says I need help spending aprox 600,000gp as I have never had close to this much money to spend.
I'd see about getting that 600kGP converted into USD. Then I'd move to Japan and live on a mountain, with my own antique bath-house, with lots of lovely ladies. Then pair up with NASA and invest a lot into studying/exploring outter-space.
