A question about the Undead

Rules Questions

Is there any rule on if a PC is turned into some form of undead from a skeleton to a wight or a vampire can they be killed and brought back to mortal life? Will a simple raise dead work or do they need to invest in a resurrection or a true resurrection? I am running an undead heavy campaign and I might be able to turn some of the party into various undead later in levels so I need to know if there is ruling on this or not.

Thank you in advance

A creature who has been turned into an undead creature or killed by a death effect can't be raised by this spell. Constructs, elementals, outsiders, and undead creatures can't be raised.

you need resurrection, raise dead won't do the trick. I've bolded both bits to show that it distinguishes between an undead creature, and a now dead, formerly undead creature.

thank you.
