Hello! My group and I are about to start RotRL:AE (I'm the GM) and I had a quick question for the board.
I have two players wanting to take the Monster Hunter feat. I don't love this, but I also don't know if it's worth raising a stink about. Is it bad for two players to have the same trait? It works thematically for both their players, so I don't think they're doing it for min-max/meta-gamey purposes (the trait isn't even really that great).
What do folks think?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. The goal of the traits are to give players a reason to be in Sandpoint for the start of the campaign. As long as it makes sense for both of their characters, I wouldn't worry about them having the same trait. Heck, maybe you can talk them into being a monster hunting team, that way they already have a reason to be working together at the start of the campaign.
I'm going to be starting this campaign soon as well (character creation was this past Saturday, and our first session is Friday night), and two of my players took the Outlander (Exile) trait because it made sense for both of their characters. It isn't worth raising a stink over, and, in the long run, won't make a huge difference.
