At this moment I am running a 1st level Druid with the Wolf Shaman Archetype. I had the idea to multi-class it into the Viking Fighter Archetype once it's time to make the 3rd level to 4th level jump. While researching how to do this properly, I've come across conflicting accounts.
One says that I have to take level adjustment hits and penalties, while another says that I just add (things like BAB, Fort, Will and Reflex saves) together.
With these conflicting positions that I've found, I am looking for a definitive answer on how I would multi-class that is also PFS legal.

Level adjustment has no meaning here. Basically when you multicast you add the first level stuff to you existing setup. So you add the BAB onto your current BAB (+1 for martial like the fighter), add the saves etc. You gaining abilities as though you were a first level character onto your existing layout.

Okay, so going from a (for an example) 3rd Level Druid with a +3 BAB and adding a 1st Level fighter I would add the +3 BAB to the +1 BAB then. So if I took a second level in fighter then the BAB would be +5 correct? As in the 3rd Level Druid +3 BAB and the 2nd Level Fighter +2 BAB.
If that is how it goes, as you've mentioned, with just the additional adding of the BAB and saves, etc etc, then I think I've got a good idea on how to get it done.

Shouldn't your BAB be +2 at 3rd level Druid?
