Well other then sorcerers and oracles, I hope that monks, bards, magi, alchemist, witches, shamans, rouges, and investigators get some love.

I am glad the playtest will be later this month. Though it would be nice to know what the classes are before that time.

An ability for the kineticist that allows them to block/parry melee attacks by rolling a check/attack roll mechanic.

I'd like to see some magical objects that created by psychic happenstance, rather than say manufactured by magic. (Yea, creating a new system might be a pain, but hear me out)

Sort of a Warehouse 51 kinda thing. A statue that has been imbued with psychic energy because it was present during a massacre, or perhaps a device that was used by a healer that saved hundreds of lives.

Maybe there should be something that works like a haunt, but beneficial.

I like the idea of magic items that offer a bit of fluff with that crunch that could carry on past the discovery of the item.

I would like to see magic items created by non-natural events in general regardless of the type of magic. Such as arcane run off from a wizard's tower, emanations from the first world, created by a person's dream, the combined wills of people(or maybe magical creatures), the body part of a monster such as a horn, tooth, eye, etc., the power of nature, the death of a powerful spellcaster or magical creature, etc.

I'm a little disappointed there to hear you say there won't be any love for the samurai. They have gotten no real love in a long time and this seems like a perfect opportunity to create a more mystical and spiritual samurai, with something like ki powers or the shamans wandering spirit to let them communicate with their ancestors or the spiritual world.

Okay, two things.

One, this kind of already exists. Artifacts are often created by happenstance. Two, I don't think there should be rules for something that is largely a plot item. There is nothing stopping a GM from saying "this skull from a burial site is imbued with magic because of the carnage it saw". Hardcoding this as rules will only limit your options.

Well to there first comment, artifacts are largely to powerful to just drop into any campaign.

As to the second comment, There is nothing to say that a standard magical item came about because of some sort of event. No one is going to come take your books away because you handed your players something like that.

What I'm talking about are objects that are tied to psychic events much like a haunt. Please don't shoot down ideas. Just add ideas.

I like the idea of a item that is psychically tied to a haunt so much you can do with that.

Nah. Hardcoding this as rules just provides another option, just as there's nothing preventing a regular magic sword (artifact or otherwise) from having originated because some precursor NPC dipped a regular sword into a vat of raw magitonium.

I dunno...I don't really think "Samurai" when I think of the material this book is going to cover. Maybe ninjas, but some classes just are not going to make sense within the context of the book.

I've actually seen Samurai portrayed as spiritual warriors fairly often. An occult Samurai would actually make a lot of sense.

Makes me wish the Samurai was the one that got the Pathfinder Unchained new class treatment. But that is a different subject all together.

I have said haunted rules for creatures and I am sure items as well before. Though haunted magic items whose magic originates from being haunted would be interesting.

Will there be any stuff for the cleric?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I feel that wisdom should be an important stat to psychic Magic considering this version is more about senses and awareness then mental prowess.

I would also like to see a Kinetisit based on wisdom as well.

My wish?

A Playtest that lasts longer than 2 weeks and a more unified book.

I would like the Kineticist to be int(or cha) based, the spiritualist to be cha based, one wis based class, and most the rest to be int based.

It looks like the playtest will be on next Tuesday:)

I would like to see a psychic rage mechanic similar to a barbarian rage mechanic for psychic powers. It would increase Int/Cha instead of Str/Con, increase damage with psychic attacks, bonus to combat maneuvers, increase number of targets you can effect, etc. Would be good as a archetype for the kineticist or a psychic warrior type class.

Like this?

Yeah, something like that;)

Let the record show that I called it. :) [/smugselfsatisfaction]

If I hadn't said it before I would like an archetype for the Kineticist that grants it a sorcerer bloodline with all the bloodline powers. Maybe use burn to use bloodline spells as spell like abilities.

I would love to see some kineticist love for the sylph, ifrit, undene, etc. Does anyone think we'll get it?

Huh... upon thought... I'd like to see archetypes that make use of the Kineticist's Kinetic Blast.

Fighter: replacing weapon and armor training with the blast and talents.

Ninja: Kinetic Blast as a Ninja Trick, and Kinetic Talents as a Master Trick, both using Ki points instead of Burn points.

Brawler: replacing martial flexibility and maneuver training with the blast and talents. Hey, that'll give us the Kamehameha or the Hadoken XD

Magus: blast and talents as arcanas, using the pool points.

Arcanist: blast and talents as exploits, using the reservoir points.

I could get behind all of these, although maybe not the Arcanist. Honestly, that class seems a little too focused on poaching other classes' nice things already.

I would definitely like to see some martial archetypes that get wild talents and blasts so that I could Avatar it up one campaign.

Easier to read through classes lol

The Occult Adventures stuff are far more "Advanced" than ACG material.

The Arcanist already has a blast option that is a supernatural ability.

Yes... that's what I noticed :P
