Subscription & Pre-Order Query

Hi. I pre-ordered & subscribed through my local store back in June. Despite the game coming out on 8/14, I didn't receive my base met until 8/30, and with no pre-order bonus. My store is also having trouble securing the character add-on deck, which I understand to be on back-order. My wife & I love the game and play together (we even took it with us on our anniversary trip!), and we would very much like to get all the pre-order & promo cards if we can.

Since my store's distributor seems to be unable to help, I'm hoping I can simply start my subscription directly through your company, but I've already received my base set. Is there any way I can get the pre-order cards I should've received previously, and am I guaranteed the promo & pre-order cards through your subscription service?

I'm thinking you are talking about the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, right? If so, you are in luck.

Go here. Choose the option to start your subscription with the Character Add-on Deck. You'll get all the promos if you choose that option, since all promos are tied to the Character Add-on Deck.

Note: You will probably run into a problem when placing your order. There is an error where it won't let you submit that order. So place the item in your shopping cart, enter you payment and shipping info and then click submit. You'll probably get kicked back to your shopping cart instead of submitting your order. Once that happens, post back here and say "Can someone in Customer Service submit my order for me?" And they will take care of the submission part for you. (You could also call them to ask them to do that part. They open at 10 pacific time.

Also note, stores can never guarantee you all the promos. Pazio gives promos to each distributor, who in turn are supposed to give promos to retailers. But there is no set amount each store should receive. And at least one promo (the blessing promo for Skull and Shackles) isn't available to retailers.

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much for your help. Paizo should amend your lack of employment with their company.

Once again, I've been ninja'd by Hawkmoon! Everything in his post seems correct. Thanks, Hawkmoon! :)

Basically Sixpence, you should be able to start your subscription with the Character Add-On and promos, but our system has been having troubles with it recently. If you put everything into place in your shopping cart and still have trouble submitting, just let us know and we can get it taken care of for you. Just post here or send us an email letting us know, and we can push the order through manually.
