What D&D campaign setting would you like to see converted for Pathfinder?

I am working on something for future release and I wanted to get feedback from the Pathfinder fanbase: What four (4) D&D campaign setting would you like to see converted for use in Pathfinder? Edition doesn’t matter just the setting. Thanks!

Yeah!

#1- Dark Sun!

#2- The World of Midnight

#3- Dragonlance

#4- Dragon Star

Forgotten Realms, but before the spellplague and all the other crappy changes that happened when they went from 3.5 to 4e.

Grand Lodge

Midnight would be good - love that magic system.

Spelljammer

The Exchange

#1 - Eberron (mostly just for a pathfinder-legal Warforged and Artificer)
#2 - Dark Sun (though it's more doable with the current system than Eberron is. What with the Dinosaurs, Kusatha, Tengu, and other weird races that seem like they would fit, and dreamscarred press has psionics down.)
#3 - DragonMech (if you're going to give us super science, give us Jaegers.)
#4 - Spelljammer (again, if you're going to give us super science...)

Spelljammer isn't super-science... it's anthromophic penguins riding sentient flying pigs hiring hippo-people mercenaries to fight against illithids in nautiloids while british-navy esque elves look down upon them and tinker gnomes pilot monstrosities of cobbled together engineering through the sky.... it's glorious.

Grand Lodge

#1 Spelljammer
#2 Al-Qadim
#3 Planescape
#4 Masque of the Red Death

Ooh, Al-Qadim is a great idea...

Actually, the whole of Pre-spellplague-arse Forgotten realms, so Karatur, Hordelands, Al-Qadim and Maztica!

Or of course Paizo could just start expanding the Golarion Campaign setting so we can see more than just the Inner Sea and Tien.

Dark Sun
Greyhawk

Shadow Lodge

Greyhawk
Spelljammer
Eberron
Mystara
Ravenloft

From what I've heard (I wasn't around much during 3.5) I'd really like to see something like Spelljammer or Dragonmech.

Wilderlands (is most probably on its way from Judges guild, as they have just kickstarted CSIO)

Tekumel

Greyhawk

Midnight

Ravenloft

Dark Sun has already more-or-less been done. (But it's still in my usual top 4, but I'll leave it off of my list)

1) Maztica
2) Planescape
3) Spelljammer (isn't LG doing something along these lines next year?)
4) Eberron

I would have said 'Greyhawk', but there are already many similar settings to it out there already that 'work', and doing a 'real' Greyhawk reboot would be a tough sell (to me at any rate) without the original authors of GH's input... which of course poses problems of a different sort.

So I'll stick with my list :)

Oh sweet memories. I don't know, what you are up to, but here you go:

1) Dark Sun
2) Planecape
3) Eberron
4) Ptolus

Dark Archive

1. DragonMech
2. Iron Kingdoms
3. Dark Sun
4. Spelljammer

Easy,Greyhawk and Thieves World

Dark Sun for sure.

Greyhawk, Lankhmar (in on a technicality), Planescape.

@Louis - are any of these actually possible/able to be converted by you legally, or are you just garnering intel on what people are into for your next Campaign Setting idea or product line release...

"I am working on something for future release" is a little open-ended for me...

* I liked Dark Sun, but I feel the recent Dragon Kings has kinda cornered that.

* Eberron has some very cool concepts - Dragonmarks, undead elves, wild Drow in Xen'drik, non-evil Orcs, all the techs, the aforementioned artificer (though your Machinesmith pretty much covers that...) umm WARFORGED...

* I bought Spelljammer back in the day, but all the gloriousness posted upthread by Mark Sweetman completely turned me off it. The central kernel of he concept is cool, and some of the gravity rules. I liked Neogi, but little else.

* Planescape is seriously cool stuff. The Factions of Sigil and the machinations of the Lady of Pain are uber-evocative. Monte Cook's mega adventure Dead Gods really brought a lot of the setting to life and explored the possibilities of the setting for me. Really it is the Campaign Setting to link all Settings. Kobold Press' Dark Roads and Golden Hells (and the extra PDF) threw in some great Planescape-esque stuff.

* Maztica is an area sadly under-represented. I do have a feeling that strict attention to South/Central American historicity will leave any such CS confined - I'd love to see some gothic/horror or anytekpunk or godlings or atlanteia or something thrown into the mix to make it a little more interesting.

* As for Greyhawk I feel Golarion is pretty much the homage to that little melange...

* Why anyone would consider converting the "Forgotten Realms" is simply beyond my comprehension.

Okay that is more than four. Enjoy the feedback.

I am ALWAYS garnering intel, even when I am NOT garnering intel. :-)

Don't worry, when I "close" it, I think you will be throwing money at your screen to get it. Big risks = big rewards!

Maztica or any North/South American equivalent. Maybe less of a focus on colonialism. Also including some Caribbean folklore. I have a New World setting I could share ideas from.

Planet hopping. Less like spelljammer and more like Barsoom and other pulp science fiction.

Eberron.

Al-Qadim. I love Arabian Nights.

1) Forgotten Realms (Before the Spellplague and before they killed Eilistraee and so many others.)
2) Planescape
3) Dragonlance
4) Spelljammer

1) Azeroth (Warcraft setting)
2) Greyhawk
3) Scarred Lands

2) Planescape
3) Spelljammer
4) Dark Sun

1)Dark Sun
2)Spelljammer
3)Ravenloft
4)Dragonlance

Birthright is my #1 by a very long margin. Dragon Kings already has my Darksun itch covered and Eberron is still mostly compatible. Birthright on the other hand is the most underrated campaign setting in D&D's history. You play as world conquering demigods out of Highlander in the most METAL setting ever conceived, how could someone not like that?

For a formalized list
1)Birthright
2)Birthright returns
3)Birthright revengeance
4)Birthright ressurection

If they all have to be separate campaign settings
1)Birthright
2)Mystara
3)Spelljammer
4)Planescape

Scarab Sages

In order:
Planescape
Ravenloft
Dragonlance
Eberron

(Dark Sun would be there above Eberron but looks like Dragon Kings is already coming)

Forgotten realms (pre spell plague)
Red Death
Dark Sun
Dragonlance

Exactly that. I played in the Forgotten Realms with Pathfinder and I still like the world.

Sure, what Paizo has done with Golarion is great too, but still... Faerun is the RPG setting I knew best before playing RPGs! (From books and PC games)

My nominations are Dark Sun and Eberron. If there is going to be a company that I think could pull off one of these two.. I think it would be you.

1) Planescape

2) Eberron

3) Dark Sun

4) Ravenloft

As others have correctly pointed out, many of these settings are closed content or otherwise unavailable for conversion.

The Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk are certainly off the table. I would imagine so are most of the others like Planescape, Dragonlance, Eberron, Spelljammer, Ravenloft, Dark Sun etc.

Not really sure what the point of this is, since probably none of the settings people are listing can actually be legally converted into a Pathfinder compatible product for sale ...

Pretty sure it's fishing for ideas of "what themes do people want more of".

I don't think anyone thinks Louis is planning on actually converting these worlds specifically. But people saying "I want more Dark Sun" gives a pretty concise way of saying "I want more post-apocalyptic, harsh worlds with a heavy focus on survival with some psionic flavor and some things I'm certainly forgetting".

Ditto with "I want more Eberron" being simpler to say than "I want advanced magical technology, non-standard monster/race alignments and associations, more complex and less absolute divine arrangements, and lots of political maneuvering between noble houses and powerful mercantile empires".

I would have added Azeroth, but I didn't think it would count as a D&D setting.

There were three or four d20 Warcraft books released during the 3.0/3.5 era, one of which was a campaign setting, so I don't see why not.

Scarab Sages

In vague order of preference:

1. Spelljammer
2. Mystara
3. Eberron
4. "Classic" Forgotten Realms

The Exchange

Dark Sun
Maztica "or any North/South American equivalent. Maybe less of a focus on colonialism. Also including some Caribbean folklore. I have a New World setting I could share ideas from" as Onraude said.
I like Dragonlance and wouldn't mind seeing it done.
Al-Qadim would be cool also.

Things I would like but seem far too easy to cobble together on my own:
Birthright, Greyhawk, and Forgotten Realms. Just get a map and the old Campaign Settings info and you are good, not a lot of inaccessible stuff in them.

Forgotten Realms (Pre Spellplague)

Mystara! Golarion is very close, but I'd still love to have the Known World converted...

Shadow Lodge

not the Forgotten Realms
they should stay Forgotten

Don't you worry about that son. You sit back and watch how I will handle this. :-)

Are you saying I am looking to cater to the Pathfinder fans base by giving them what they want in a campaign setting? That sounds crazy!

Are you trying to peak inside of my head? It is a scary place.

We can take 'em.

Scarred lands is coming to pathfinder courtesy of Onyx Path, they have already release one short adventure for pathfinder. As for the other settings, don't rule anything out, Wotc has been doing joint projects with several third party publishers lately.
