How does the Pit Figher Feat work for Brutal Pugilist Archetype?

Rules Questions

I can't always wrap my head around some of the rules as I'm new, but I'm working on it.

But can someone please help me understand how the Pit Fighter ability works? It says "She selects one combat maneuver and gains a +1 insight bonus on her CMB or to her CMD in that maneuver. This bonus increases to +2 if the barbarian is wearing no armor (shields are allowed). At every three levels after 3rd, the barbarian may select another combat maneuver and add this bonus on her CMB or to her CMD. This bonus can be applied to each maneuver no more than twice, once on CMB and once to CMD."

Now, I'm a LvL 3 Barbarian Brutal Pugilist wearing armor, so I can use the +1 insight bonus on my CMB or CMD as many times as I want during an encounter? Or is there a limit somewhere? Because at the end it says "this bonus can be applied to each manuever no more than twice, but it doesn't say if only once per day or once per combat. Or do you just add +1 to CMD and CMB and it's permanent?

I will greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me clear this up!

It's a permanent bonus to either the CMB or CMD of one maneuver. You have to select it twice per maneuver to get the benefit to both of them.

That is not worth it.

Thanks, I'll look into another barb archetype. Trying to find one that goes with Tetori Monk

Um... no Barbarian Archetype really 'goes' with Tetori, unless you're planning to, at some point, stop being Lawful. Monks must be Lawful (barring one really dumb Aasimar trick), and Barbarians cannot be Lawful.

Now, if you stop being Lawful, you keep all your Monk abilities, but you can't take any more levels.

I hadn't really planned on going any further in monk. I can make a level 7 character for the scenario I'll be playing that is not with the pathfinder society, and I'm trying to make an up close grapple character. Only took 4 levels of Tetori monk to get some of the grappling feats and cmd and cmb bonuses. Otherwise I thought about taking some barbarian to add to strength mod when raging to help with grapple and pin. My character has no bonus wisdom mod because I wanted him to wear the breastplate of agility with spikes which would do additional 1d6 when grappling. I know it's not as much damage as flurry of blows, but it's kinda of for the character's personality and background, and I think it would be fun.

using the pathfinder society fantasy points (20)

Str = 20 (+2 from half-orc)
Dex = 16
Con = 12
Int = 7
Wis = 7
Cha = 7

Like for feats I have the tetori monk: Improved Grapple & Stunning Pin (which I don't plan to use much since I have low wisdom of 7, actually). Then Improved Initiative, Greater Grapple, Deflect Arrows (to help with ranged defense until I get up on the guy, and Extra Rage so I can keep up my strength when going for grappling moves.

I know it's a mess of a build but it's for a one shot scenario and I'm really experimenting. If I can find a fun build for a grapple-type character that can pin foes foe allies to coup de grâce, I figure it would help in some battles.

And I thought about making him a chain fighter to trip up enemies at range if he can't quite get close enough. Other than that, I'll give him a long bow if I really get desperate for a long away shot.
