Eldritch Scion Question

Rules Questions

To use any ability that normally functions when in a bloodrage, an eldritch scion must spend a point from his eldritch pool.

so if it doesn't need bloodrage then it doesn't need mystic focus.

I would imagine so, but I believe all the powers of a Bloodrager's bloodline require you to be in a Bloodrage.

Also, you need to be in mystic focus state to use Spell Combat, which means you can't use Arcane Mark+Spellstrike+Spell Combat to do remotely decent damage. (And you can't go Hexcrafter to have a backup option when you can't do good melee damage, because both archetypes replace Spell Recall).

Eldritch Scion is awful before level 8, which is a damn shame. :(

here's an example of when you don't have to be in bloodrage for a bloodrage power.

At 20th level, your body becomes truly unnatural. You are immune to critical hits and sneak attacks. In addition, you gain blindsight with a range of 60 feet and your bloodrager damage reduction increases by 1. You have these benefits constantly, even while not bloodraging.

Unless stated differently, all bloodrager bloodline powers only function while in bloodrage. This is explicitly stated in most bloodlines.

but if you look at the aberrant bloodline you see that only one says even while not bloodraging but in abyssal bloodline some say only while bloodraging i think that can be misinterpreted so can there be any clarification.
