Is GenCon Reporting done?

I'm asking as I seem to be missing one of the tables I played in, specifically the special Friday night, Legacy of the Stonelords. All the rest of my tables, both played and run, are accounted for.

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5

I hope not as I am missing a table of Traitor's Lodge that I ran.

Grand Lodge 5/5

I don't think Legacy has been reported yet, I don't show it either. There was another thread where it was stated they were still working on it.

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5

My Legacy table was reported already. They even reported my Sunday Technic Siege table twice.

Silver Crusade 4/5

Missing my Friday Legacy as well -- all others have been reported, even later sessions, so I was wondering as well.

No.

Entry isn't done in order, it's a pile of reporting slips that need to be read (or re-read, or hope-to-god-i-can-figure-out-what-this-number-is'd)

and that's before there's *2000* slips to go through.

Silver Crusade 4/5

My Legacy table has been on my Sessions list for over a week. The only game missing from my page is The Paths We Chose.

And I got a double posting of my Bone Keep 3 table (which was an embarrassing escape with our lives kind of situation). I certainly don't need two reminders of that one.

Any update on this. I'm still missing a table from the Friday night special.

It's probably going to take time to finish reporting. PFS is run by volunteers and no one is getting paid to do all that data entry. It can take anywhere from 2-5 minutes to enter a reporting sheet (a lot of which depends on it being completely filled out and LEGIBLE). Multiply that time by the number of reporting sheets for the convention (1200+) and that is quite a bit of time. 3-4 years ago, GenCon was finished reporting in late October. Time is being cut down each year but as the campaign grows and more GenCon tables are added, we need to be cognizant that the people doing the reporting have work, families, etc. that take precedence over this task.

I'm not saying that it won't be done in a timely manner, but please manage your expectations. As always, your physical chronicle sheet trumps anything online.

So, I'm baffled a bit by how games are being reported for GenCon. I'm assuming that players had to play with the new factions at GenCon. And yet, when I go to report the scenarios that have been played at my events since August 14th (post-new faction introduction) I do not have the option to select the new factions for players' PCs.

How are tables being reported at GenCon? Are you seeing the correct faction for your PC? Or is it being reported using the old (analogous) version of the faction that you PC would have fit into during Season 5?

I'm being pestered non-stop by my local players to report my recent sessions and have held off due to this problem. But the rabble is getting unruly, and I'd like to have this solved.

Any answers would be appreciated.

The way I have been doing it is reporting my tables as the old (analogous) version of a faction.

Me too, and that's also how GenCon is being reported, based on what I'm seeing from the session I played there.

While you are at it, please up date the session sheets with the new Factions and adding the A/B/C/D boxes, those are 2 years over due.

Dragnmoon, these are *not* official, but it's what I'm using locally now to help GMs who often forget to check ABCD because it's not on the reporting sheets:

Starting with Season 5 some scenarios depending on how they went you had an another reporting step where you would select an Option A - D depending.

For example if a certain NPC lived you would report A, if the NPC died you would report B.

This would allow story continuity based on what the majority of PFS players experienced.

On behalf of all the people who entered reporting sheets for Gencon 2014, thank you for your patience.

Gencon reporting should be done!

If you are missing sessions or have errors, please send me a pm with the scenario, the session date and time, and your PFS number. I will work with other members of the data entry team to get records corrected.

Cheers!

Thank you for your hard work. All of my sessions are correct.

Grand Lodge

I had reported 1 of my session missing about 3 weeks ago and still don't see it. I also am unable to PM Tonya/GM Sunflower. Any help would be appreciated.

Liberty's Edge

I sent a PM on Tuesday. No response and it's still not updated. Still, I imagine there are tons of these to go through.

I still haven't gotten a response to the PM I sent.

Nor I. Not really worried about it.

Now if I start sniffing five stars and they are not reported yet...

Could it be possible that some GMs (like myself) forgot to put the scenario number/name on top and those unknown scenarios have not been reported?

Liberty's Edge

Nothing yet. Anyone else?

Grand Lodge 5/5

Nothing here either. I think I wrote the scenario number on my reporting sheet. Also, they were really good about asking, if it wasn't on the top.

Since the reporting slips were also being used to track if you actually showed up to the table you volunteered for, I'm mainly worried about getting flagged as a no-show. Because I want to GM again next time I attend.

Possible. But the only tables of mine not reported are 5-99 and 6-00.

Plus, I put the scenario number on every sheet after being "mildly chastised" after turning in my first session sheet, sans scenario number.

Does "mildly chastised" mean that you can tell us the difference between a whip and a scorpion whip, now? ;)

Well, maybe someone in a position to do something will see the thread eventually.

Grand Lodge 5/5

I sent a PM weeks ago and follow up one last week. Still no response, and no update. I showed up for all my sessions and they all made. I'm nervous now. I should only be 4 games from my 3rd star, but its showing 7 because 3 of my gencon tables are missing. 2 tables of kid's track and Legacy of the Stonelords!

If you are missing a session, send me what you GMed/played, when you participated in the game, and your PFS number (including character number to apply the credit to). DO NOT PM me the info. Email me at mike.brock@paizo.com.
