June, I looked into doing something similar, but asked for clarification: modifying the existing art violates the Community Use Policy. =\
As far as devianart; is there a forum there? All of my forays to that site consist of artist galleries. Unless you're suggesting I message specific artists if they would do it?

Here is a link to the deviantArt Forum. If you have not done so already, you may want to try contacting the one who played a fish loving halfling for you. I imagine that one may be up for the task.(at least would not hurt to ask)

Excellent, thanks for the link R2D2TS.
I thought about asking Shannon, and as talented as she is and as much as I love her art, I don't know that she could mimic that propaganda style. I'll ask her though.
Drandle Dreng could be Uncle Sam, but we wouldn't be able show the poster unless its in the middle of the night! Really though, it could be any VC.

So I can comission fan art of Paizo's characters for use in promotional posters.
Does that art then fall into the Community Use guidelines because it uses Paizo's IP? Meaning I couldn't charge to grant access to it, correct? (I wouldn't want to, regardless.)
What about soliciting donations to cover the cost of commissions?
