Prestige Class Question

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I am looking for a Prestige class that is focused on making magic items (Potions, weapons, armor, item, ect.) but for a wizard. I'm been looking through books for day. Cannot find anything. Any ideas?

There really isn't one, because there doesn't need to be one. Just go straight wizard.

Core Rulebook wrote:

Scribe Scroll: At 1st level, a wizard gains Scribe Scroll as a bonus feat.

Bonus Feats: At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th level, a wizard gains a bonus feat. At each such opportunity, he can choose a metamagic feat, an item creation feat, or Spell Mastery. The wizard must still meet all prerequisites for a bonus feat, including caster level minimums. These bonus feats are in addition to the feats that a character of any class gets from advancing levels. The wizard is not limited to the categories of item creation feats, metamagic feats, or Spell Mastery when choosing those feats.

For boosting crafting, take the Hedge Wizard magic trait. Skill Focus (Spellcraft) can also come in handy for accelerated crafting and/or missing prerequisites (see the magic item creation rules). A wizard also can take arcane discoveries in place of feats, including the Arcane Builder discovery ("You create items of this type 25% faster than normal, and gain a +4 bonus on Spellcraft checks (or other checks, as appropriate) to craft items of this type. You may select this discovery multiple times; its effects do not stack. Each time you select this discovery, it applies to a different type of magic item.").
