Question on the Warpriest's blessings (from Additional Resources)

This statement seems a little ambiguous to me. To me, it seems that it could have two separate interpretations.

• In order to invoke the blessing, you must worship a deity that grants that blessing (such as a Caydenite invoking the Strength blessing to given an Calistrian a bonus on STR checks)
  
• In order to gain the benefit of a blessing, you must worship a deity with the domain that grants that blessing (so that a Caydenite could grant an Iroran the ability, but not a Calistrian).
  

The first would be what I would expect (and would match how Cleric's domains work). The second would be quite different, and would affect how the abilities were used quite a bit.

Hoping someone can clear this up for me (hopefully in an official sort of way)!

I believe the first interpretation is correct. Since there's nothing in the description of the blessing ability which says that only a worshiper of the deity can gain the benefits, and I doubt they're going to change how an ability works solely for PFS play.

Note that Additional Resources is actually inaccurate, as there hasn't yet been time to update that section to the following:
