Does the character using Blundering Defense gain the bonus for himself?

Rules Questions

See topic.

I realize it says "allies", but in some wordings, allies count the character himself. I assume not, but I thought I'd ask to be sure.

Ally: Do you count as your own ally?
You count as your own ally unless otherwise stated or if doing so would make no sense or be impossible. Thus, "your allies" almost always means the same as "you and your allies."

Blundering Defense:-

Whenever you fight defensively or use the total defense action, allies gain a luck bonus to AC and CMD equal to 1/2 the dodge bonus you gain from the action you are taking. Allies only gain this bonus while they are adjacent to you.

I'm not sure you can be adjacent to yourself, if you cannot it would fall under impossible clause, if you can well you should qualify.

Hmm, still not a final ruling I guess. I'll rule no unless I get a convincing argument.

Just be beside yourself in surprise all the time so you are adjacent
