Hello all, I'm new. I'm building a Kitsune Maestro Sorcerer who is the party face.

My GM was ridiculously generous with attributes and gave us extra skill points to boot. It's a first level campaign, but we get to come in as second level if we submitted a detailed backstory. (I did.)

I have a 19 CHA, 16 Int, 18 Dex, 14 Con, 10 Wis, 7 STR

In addition to standard sorcerer skills, I have bluff, disguise and diplomacy (got the last two as class skills via traits) as non-sorcerer skills, and yes, I took perform. I'm a musician, and a spy who tells very few people I'm Kitsune. I plan to impersonate other people and lie a lot.

My first feat is Realistic Likeness, but I am wondering what feats to take later on. I know that I am going to take fox shape when I qualify for it at 7th level, but I'd like to have a plan for 3rd and 5th level feats, as well as for any bloodline feats.

Given the Kitsune benefit to enchantments, I know that one of my two 1st level spells is "Charm Person." But I am having trouble deciding on the other 1st level spell, and on my 5 starting cantrips. (I know I'm not taking Daze -- Beguiling Voice, my 1st level bloodline power, is better.)

1) What are your Feat recommendations for me?

1a) Would Still Spell work well with my bloodline arcana?
1b) Is Spell Song worth it, considering that my character sings and performs all the time?

2) What are your spell recommendations, especially cantrips?

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps not many other people have played Maestro bloodline sorcerers? Still, I am hoping that some bardic players might be able to give me advice on the usefulness of the various feats?

_________

Some more details about the campaign: it's intrigue and story-oriented. Our characters are spies going into enemy territory and our cover is that we are a circus.

I personally am an escaped slave, going into slave-owning territory under another (literally, I'm kitsune) face.

I am a new player to Pathfinder would love any ideas you might have. Please!

Even though I didn't get any advice on this one, I've decided to record what I've researched / analyzed so far about my Maestro sorcerer, in case anyone else is searching for ideas about what to do about Maestro bloodline.

I looked for what spells might be verbal / somatic only, and it's a really short list. This makes the bloodline arcana for Maestro to not be that useful. Still Spell would raise caster level, but it would also take my upper level caster slots... I've decided that this power is too situational, and I've take it out of my calculations.

So here is the feat plan for this character so far:

1st Level -- Realistic Likeness ('Cause I'm a spy!)
3rd Spell Focus (Enchantment) or Toughness
5th Bouncing Spell or Spell Focus (Enchantment) or Focused Spell
7th Bloodline: Greater Spell Focus
7th Fox Shape
9th Persistent Spell or Heighten Spell

Maestro comes with a lot of bloodline enchantment spells, and Kitsune get bonuses to DCs on Enchantments, so it makes sense to pump these up. Besides, compulsions seem fitting for a spy.

By ninth level, my DCs on enchantments should be pretty good:

+5 for Charisma
+1 for being Kitsune
+2 for FC bonus, Kitsune Sorcerer
+2 for Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus (Enchantment)
+1 for Language Dependent Spells (Maestro bloodline)

I am aware that the fox shape does not net me much in terms of game mechanics, but it really fits a kitsune character to be able to turn into a fox. (I actually would have built kitsune so that fox shape was their natural form, rather than the hybrid they have now.)

Maestro may not be the powerful bloodline out there, but I'm more of a roleplayer than an optimizer, anyway. The bloodline has lots of RP flavor, and I'm looking forward to playing an amazing singing not-a-bard spy.

If anyone else out there goes Maestro, please feel free to post here. I'd love to know how you shape your character.
