The hard part about hard mode is someone always votes against it, or at least this has been my experience.
I think it really doesn't help that many people feel the "hard mode" scenarios themselves are too difficult, without the additional challenge of hard mode. I personally have liked all of the hard mode scenarios I've played and GMed (waiting for a table of hard mode Weapon in the Rift).

I agree. Thats why if I knew before hand I could muster a table of hardmode like minded sorts and go through them in the their hard mode glory.
I played hard weapons in the rift.
I am mustering one of the waking rune. I just would hate to miss out on a hard mode if I do not knwo they are coming. I wish PFS management advertised what scenarios offered hard modes, and then put this advert where they could be easily found.
