Daggers or starknives for a flying blade?

Advice

Well, I've got another PFS build idea in my head. This time it's for a kitsune flying blade swashbuckler. The only problem is that I'm shoehorned into using either a dagger or a starknife. Both have d4 as their damage die, so it comes down to whether I want a wider crit range and lower price (dagger) or a larger crit multiplier and longer range (starknife). Thoughts?

Dagger, better threat range. Easier to carry.

I don't think range is that important, since I am pretty sure precise strike only works up to 30 feet away.

Plus, critting is rather important for swashbucklers.

Dagger. Crits are important, and River Rat is another point of damage.

Daggers have more support throughout the system. For instance, worshiping Pharasma can give you a significant to-hit boost.

Another reason to go dagger is the Spring-loaded wrist sheath. A dagger fits, starknife doesn't.

Swift action to equip/re-arm yourself with a dagger for surprise rounds or if you toss them.

Okay, so dagger it is. While we're on the subject, do you think Distance Thrower would be a worthwhile feat to pick up since the dagger's throwing range is only 10 feet?

Not really, it is just a -2 to the penalty for range. Just stand a little closer, or depending on the level throw it from 5 feet away.
