The human cleric favored class bonus of +1 to caster level to overcoming spell resistance of outsiders. If I compared your losing the HP per level that is an equivilant of a feat called toughness. Metamagic feats only apply to one spell so that looks weak compared to the favored class bonus.
Obviously this is situational in nature but assuming you get a reasonable amount of mileage out of it, how do you rate the abilities power? Welcome all comments

If you know you're fighting outsider often for certain, then it's great. Otherwise, I'd take the extra skill point (as the other option that isn't hp).
At low levels the extra hp can help, but really once you scrape together enough for a Wand of Cure Light Wounds you should basically top off between every battle so having 10 extra hp versus 10 extra skill points...well one is just much better to me.
