Help with a Level 3 Slayer for RotRL

Advice

Thought I would try an Archery focused build.I guess the group I'm playing with just finished chapter 1. Pretty high rolls for abilities so I really don't need to be over optimized.

Human, Slayer,
Str 14
Dex 20
Con 14
Wis 16
Int 14
Cha 12

Traits- Giant Hunter, Child of the Streets (Sleight of Hand as class skill)

We play with the house rule that if you take a flaw you can have a bonus feat.
1st level Feat - Point Blank Shot
Human Bonus- Deadly Aim
Flaw Bonus- Weapon Focus (longbow)
Combat Style Feat- Precise Shot
3rd level Feat- ?

I'm not sure what I want to build towards at this point. Should I go along the Snap Shot route? In which case I would think Combat Reflexes would be the next choice, either that or Rapid Shot.

My other question would be is it worth it to put any feats, talents into sneak attack. My first thought is that for such a ranged focus character it might not be worth the investment into something that isn't a guarantee.

There is a good chance that things might go Mythic as well.

I have this prebuilt! You need a level of fighter at 7 to really capitalize on everything and score two build critical feats:

Slayer1 PBS, (Human) Precise, (Bonus)Deadly Aim
Slayer2 Archery Style: Rapid Shot
Slayer3 Combat Reflexes
Slayer4 Weapon Focus: Bow
Slayer5 dazzling display
Slayer6 Archery Style: Improved Precise Shot, Human FCB: Trapfinding (Or anything really)
Fighter1 shatter defenses, Violent Display
Slayer7
Slayer8 Improved Snapshot, Combat Trick: Snap Shot
Slayer9
Slayer10 Manyshot, Ranger: Point Blank Master
Slayer11
Slayer12 Any Feat, Human FCB: Opportunist

Go read violent display and be impressed. You will want to keep a few of the free runner shirts so you get right up into combat if needed and you can intimidate. It's best to use both the bow enchant and trait from Erastil out of the more recent faiths guide. They let you actually ignore party members for cover so you can get off your AOOs even with two melee guys in the way.

I like it.
"Special: This feat is available to weretigers, weretiger-kin and those who associate with these creatures."

Might take some DM permission, but I think it can fly.

The only tweak I see if taking Deadly Range as the FCB on level 6. Having a range of 40' to sneak allows a lil more wiggle room for a 5' step back once I get my scare on.

Thanks

" those who associate with these creatures"

That's a strictly RP/flavor clause. So you're from a family of adventurers who adopted a couple of weretiger cubs they couldnt stomach putting down or leaving to die. They got older, turned on the family and fled. News cropped up of their arrival in your new campaigns area and BAM. Here you are, a slayer hunting down his parents error in judgement.

Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot, and Deadly Aim are core archery feats. Get those ASAP, then build from there. Note that Slayer has the same rules about ignoring feat prereqs, so you'll absolutely want to use your talent at 6 to get Improved Precise Shot, a full 5 levels early.

From there, Snap Shot and Combat Reflexes are good options.

An example build for a few levels would be

1. Point Blank
1b. Deadly Aim
1b. Weapon Focus
2. Precise Shot
3. Rapid Shot
4. Deadly Range talent
5. Combat Reflexes
6. Improved Precise Shot
7. Snap Shot
8. Clustered Shots (via Combat Trick)
9. Improved Snap Shot
10. Assassinate talent
11. Whatever
12. Opportunist
13. Silent Kill
14. Evasion talent
15. Whatever
16. Hunter's Surprise talent
17. Whatever
18. Whatever
19. Whatever
20. Whatever

Damn, I thought you wanted a level 3 slaver build.
