Hex Channeler Archetype

So is it just me or could a Hex Channeler Witch use the Extra Hex feat to continue to increase their dice to channeling?

Their channel energy ability states that any time you would gain a new Hex you can instead choose to get an additional 1d6 to your channel energy dice.

So does this mean I am correct in assuming My Hexchanneler could hit 19d6 channel at level 20?

It would seem to be the over all understanding that this is possible, though I am still not convinced. The Extra Hex feat grants you one additional hex. The Channel Energy class feature of the Hexchanneler is not a hex, it is selected in place of a hex. Rules as written, it does not seem to work the way people are assuming it does.

You're right except that to increase you're channel energy you have to use a hex slot to do it.

On a side note it makes the variant channels valuable since they work off of cleric level and no matter what your channel die is your cleric level is equal to your witch level.

Based on this, yes, anytime you take the Extra Hex feat, you could instead increase your channel by 1d6. It says every time you can learn a new hex. The Extra Hex feat gives you a new Hex.
