Questions considering soloing in Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild Organized Play.

Pathfinder Adventure Card Society

I'm almost only play PACG solo, and will probably continue to do so. That's why I almost didn't care that there was going to be a Society play. I was just going to get the Class Decks and the Scenarios to have more options in playing the game at home.

When reading this guide and noticing this opens up for Society solo play. I just got a couple of questions on my mind. I'm not really familiar with the Society RPG play, and how that works either.

1. I understand that you only can register one character if you play more characters solo. I will probably be at three or four characters per group I'll solo. Do I understand it correctly when I read the guide as I only get/have/need to register ONE and only one character, even when playing different groups through soloplay?

2. This is more of a technical question, trying to understand a little bit how the technical aspects of Pathfinder Society works.
As I understand this: If you take part of a Society Organized Play as a player, you'll have an event manager/GM reporting your progress to the Society online.
When soloing. Will you need to become your own "event manager" in Pathfinder Society to report?

I've been toying with the Society functions online here, and it's probably not complete, since you can't create a PACG event yet. And the character creation is probably going to be more fleshed out (with stats and such)?

I will probably find it a bit of a hassle having to register an event for my solo time, as they seldom are planned events, and then registrering data from my solo event. But I'm willingly going to do that if Paizo needs some solo data in this society. A way to mark "solo event" in the event manager is a tips if you want to get more solo data.
Some efficient record your solo play society, without the need of event creation, would be something I would be even more eager to contribute in.

And a thank you to Paizo for considering us solo players as a part of the PACG Society experience. :)

4 people marked this as a favorite.

1. If your plan is to take multiple groups through the Organized Play Adventure Path, pick one character from each group to register.

2. You do currently have to register an event before you can report it, but you don't need to do that in advance—you can register it and report it at the same time.

Thank you for the response :)
Looking forward to playing some social solitare.

I assume that you have played a group of characters solo and later you wanted to join in with another group and take your solo characters with you then only the registered character from the solo group would be eligable to join in with the external group?

Sorry I missed this, but yes, that's correct.
