Advice - Erylium


Rise of the Runelords


So the party have pretty much annihilated all of Eryliums Sinspawn allies and she's burnt through all her offensive spells. She's invisible and on the defensive. However the party have shut the door, so she has nowhere to run too. They, however have no real way to find her.

I really don't want her to escape as the party already lost Tsuto, and I have managed to pick up a party so paranoid they won't approach within a 5' square of a statue, so they are a little light on treasure, but I can't see how to end this stalemate without her a) getting away and b) being all a little anticlimactic.

So, do I play up her agoraphobia and rage and suicide her against the party when she realises she's trapped? or maybe those more experienced than I have a cunningier (that's a word, I checked, honest!) plan.

Grand Lodge

One thing people have attempted to do in the past is have Erylium hover right next to the runewell within melee range. When they advance to attack her and fail avoid stepping in the water instantly they are enraged and prone to attacking their colleagues.

I would definitely have her hold until her fast healing heals all her wounds and then try something like that... or just throw her tiny returning dagger from safe distance until they find some way to kill her.
