I was wondering if I could get some advice on making my Tiefling Fighter (Hungerseed so +2str/wis -2cha) get some SLAs or just little dabbles of magic without level dips.
Get just a hint of the Ogre Magi feel into the character.
I suppose I could take bloodline feats but that requires a heavy investment in Cha I'm not willing to make, are there any interesting alternatives? it's more a flavour thing than a character optimization thing.
Edit: Some key info
20 point buy, starting at level 1, doesn't need to be immediately available at level 1. 2 traits. nothing 3rd party.
Thank you in advance.

I second the suggestion of the Eldritch Heritage line. If you're playing into the high levels, all you need is a starting Charisma of 11. A +2/4/6 item for Charisma will get you to meet the prereqs for each of the three feats.
Other than that, thanks to the cheap item thread, a week or so ago, I found the Cloak of the Hedge Wizard. Transmutation is especially nice for you. It's only 2,500 also, so it is nice and cheap.

There's a feat that gives Tieflings 2 extra uses of their Darkness spelllike ability, but as you've got Alter Self instead it doesn't work really. Ofcourse you could always beg to your GM.
In the 2 player Aasimar + Tiefling campaign I'm running I gave them both a sword that allowed them to use their spelllike abilities in a different way. The Tiefling could use Scorching Ray instead of Darkness, and the Aasimar could use Lesser Restoration instead of Glitterdust.

If you don't mind throwing two feats at it, there is Varisian Tattoo (Inner Sea World Guide). It has a prerequisite of Spell Focus, and will allow you to do a cantrip depending on which type of magic you took spell focus in.
Abjuration: Resistance
Conjuration: Acid Splash
Enchantment: Daze
Evocation: Dancing Lights
Illusion: Ghost Sound
Necromancy: Touch of Fatigue
Transmutation: Mage Hand
I don't think it is worth it, but it is an option.

It's not. The Magical Talent trait will allow you to use a cantrip once per day.
Multiclassing as rogue for 5 levels would give you access to the Minor Magic and Major Magic talents. That's a cantrip 3/day and a first level spell 2/day. Ofcourse, if you're gonna do that, you might as well just pick up a level of Wizard instead.Diminuendo |
Your GM might very will rule against you getting Arcane Strike on a Fighter through Spell Like Abilities, just to warn you.
Think about it, you have Power Attack and Weapon Training already, and technically you dont have a Caster Level, you just treat your Character Level as your Caster Level for SLAs.

Ill vouch cloak of the hedge wizard is a good buy. Both transmutation and abjuration are worth the money. Shield is a good spell when a w raith shows up. +4 ac is always good. Catching magic missiles is good too. Endure elements is a spell you can have can have on constent.
UMD is deffinatly a great way to go. But so is going magus or eldritch knight. Straight fighter is typically boring anyways.

You only need to multiclass for two; two levels to get access to Rogue Talents and then take the Extra Rogue Talent Feat.
