Subscribers, how is Paizo with shipping?

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

For those of you who subscribe to the card-game, how is Paizo with shipping? Do they get stuff to you undamaged or are your boxes bashed in?

I am thinking of subscribing to the Wrath of the Righteous AP. But I'll pass if stuff regularly gets damaged. Coolstuff for example always gets stuff to me in pristine shape.

I like how you will get promos and a 20% discount on accessories. So maybe that would apply to the minis that got announced today? I know it applies to the Ultra Pro sleeves/boxes and the playmats.

They never came in damaged for me, and the cards usually would arrive about a week before the street date.

That being said, if there are issues with any products that come in, it's probably a problem with UPS. You can always contact customer service if your purchases comes in damaged, though.

The only damaged stuff I've ever received from Paizo was stuff I bought from their scratch and dinged bins. What's more, their customer service folk are awesome and quick to fix things if something should happen to go wrong. You're fairly safe.

In my experience, they're pricey but worth it. Their warehouse crew put a lot of effort into packing things well and customer service go well beyond what's reasonable when there are missing/damaged shipments.

I have been a subscriber for many years on lots of products and have never had anything show up damaged. Once or twice the items in a box were wrong. One time something was there that was not what I ordered and they said I could keep it as a free bonus. And one time an item was missing and they shipped it back out to me right away. (I have had over 100 orders per my history going back to 2005 and most of my stuff ships once per month so they have a consistent history.)

I will also say they have a great rep, and if anything ever did show up damaged and you contacted them directly I would expect they would work with you to make sure you are a happy customer.

I'd say the same thing. I've only ever gotten the card game from them, but everything has been well packaged and received in perfect condition.

If you scroll through the customer service forums, you'll find an occasional (very occasional) thread about a product the was damaged. And you'll see that they also always leave the customer happy.

I only have the PACG subscription, but everything has always been in excellent condition. I did order a couple items during the Golem sale, those were fine as well.

In fact.. I got an extra adventure pack 5.. i think it was.. in my subscription when that came out. They said keep it or donate it to a library or friend when I inquired about returning it. :)

I had an issue with the printing of some of the cards in one of my adventure decks . CS asked for some pictures and immediately sent out replacements. Paizo is really good with their customer service.

I live in Norway, and even on the way over here things from Paizo is in good shape. Now I haven't gotten my first big box from them yet, so I'll see in a little while if that's delivered in good shape.

This has happened to me twice (though I can't speak for the cards, I can speak for Paizo's stellar customer service when it comes to subscriptions in general), and yes both times they shipped the correct item out immediately for free, and let me keep the mistake item. The first time it happened, it was even a book I was going to be ordering the next month anyway (Haflings of Golarion), so then I just had to buy the PDF (which I did!) so I am very happy with how they handle the rare mistakes. As for the other item that didn't interest me at the time (Kingmaker maps folio), I still keep it safely tucked away in case I or a friend ever do run Kingmaker, we'll have the maps!
